I so appreciate the teaching from Dr Peacock each week. I can't always listen live as we are 5 hours ahead of you but I listen online later. Could we have the video version when there are charts used pleased. Many thanks and God bless you all.
It's difficult at times to hear the young black haired preacher (sorry, don't know his name). It's a shame as he is doing a great job! Please look into the sound problem so we can be blessed by his teaching and not have to adjust the speakers too much. I only noticed this problem tonight, usually it is fine. Thanks and keep up the good work!! I thank the Lord always for your webcast.
Thanks Brother Peacock's sermons always seem to do their job, somehow.... :)
The Holy Spirit's also brought a number of verses back to my remembrance, all glory to God.
Thanks, I'll do that search!
Re: scared (comment above) While you shouldn't walk around paralyzed from fear, it's good to be shaken and woken up about deception. The Bible says to be sober minded. If this sermon has shaken you up, it has done its job.
We don't have to be paralyzed with fear, though, because God has given us many tools to fight deception. The Bible, the Holy Spirit, preaching, prayer, etc. Search our sermon archive for "deception" and you'll find some great sermons that might answer your question further.
Okay, now I'm scared Then how do I know how to discern God's leading? How can I know the difference between my imagination filling in gaps or self deception or Satanic deception and God's guidance? Or can I?
Great Sermon! Dr. David Peacock, One of the most enlightening sermons we've ever heard. thank you so much. We thoroughly ejoyed this and will email it to our friends and family, we also will download this to a cd for Paul's SS Class.
Only yesterday The Lord was talking to me about preaching the truth without compromise, even I believe I have been deceived into watering the Gospel 'well' I said , 'after all the Holy Spirit will do His work of salvation'. But NO, as Pastor Peacock preaches with power so The Holy Spirit has convicted me, God has not yet opened door for me for ministry but this is a good training ground for me! Thank you Pastor Peacock, Bless you..... You are right it's not about the increase of numbers but power. Ravi, London, England
