Great Sermon! In 2 Cor 5:20 “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God”.
If a U.S. ambassador was making claims in the name of the President of which the President never said. What would happen? It would create diplomatic problems for the President, and the ambassador would be removed. An ambassador has a level of fear in the position they are in, and they ensure anything said by them is coming from the mouth of the President.
If that is how it is in human terms, how much more so with the LORD of Lords? But these “Christians” feel free to make claims of “thus says the LORD” while evidencing no fear of God.
God says “Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence” (Jer 5:22)
“There is no fear of God before their eyes.” (Rom 3:18; Ps 36:1)
“Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!” (Ez 13:3)
“Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.” (Jer 23:31)
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” (Titus 1:16)
“from such turn away.” (2 Tim 3:5)
Great Sermon! I believe with confidence if the lord Jesus was to walk into an English church witha table full of versions he would pick up the av! When he went into the temple and read from the scroll he didn't say as the modernist says ( it really should say this and that) I didn't have a bible before conversion and was given an Niv when I realized there were all theseversions I was horrified!
Great Calming Sermon! This message warms my heart to know that God is sovereign and whatever has happened and will happen in my life as a Christian gives me peace. During troubles, I have to look to God for understanding and acceptance of it all. There is great peace to know that God called to salvation, and He will finish His job in my life. To those yet unsaved, pray and study the Holy Scriptures more each day and ask God to show you His Will for your salvation. God is a loving God with patience with you. Do not let it pass.
Great Sermon! Dear brother Mark,

This sermon has encouraged us much.
Thank you. The Lord bless and keep you.
