“ Timely Message. ”
Truly this is a timely message for a church where most do what is right in their own eyes. Initially I never held to the regulative principle; actually never heard of it at all in evangelical circles where worship is defined by what the people want. But in time, worship of God became a subject I started to study as I was grieved at the declension in my local church as the "praise and worship" music started to increase. What I found in my studies is what Mr. Mencarow shares in this message. For those who truly want to get Romanism out of their church they should heed this message as even a cursory study of music and instruments in the church reveals that it was heretics who introduced man-made "hymns" and mystery Babylon who introduced instruments. No different than what she did with vestments, liturgies, candles, incense, the alter, priests and more. Yet while some will purge the former, the instruments and man-made songs remain a sacred cow that few will part with. I pray though that some will be willing to suffer the reproach and worship according to the NT pattern.

Careful now what you say about the Devil....no need to be "rude"
What a spineless Christianity now pervades the professing Church. What did Jesus say to the Pharisees again? Oh yes..."hypocrites...whited sepulchres...blind guides...fools...serpents..generation of vipers..." "Rude"?

“ A History Of Apostasy And The Growth Of Antichrist ”
An important historical message revealing fulfillments of prophecy. The spread of Christianity in the Roman Empire, Diocletian, persecutions, early Christian martyrs, Constantine, Islam, Romanism/Ritualism, Paganism, the Papacy (Antichrist), etc., are all touched on here. For more details see Jonathan Edwards' classic work, The History Of Redemption, free on MP3 at http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=102907162737 (16 MP3s).

“ Great Sermon! ”
i would love to see a debate on historicism versus futurism. i was once in the "left behind" crowd myself until i started studying Revelation, and discovering that the futurist view makes little sense. i had suspected for a while that the future view ignores 2000 years of history, the popery, and all of the Lord's martyrs.

Dual Israel-American citizens hold US government positions that could compromise American security !

Consider the following:

"Michael Mukasey
Recently appointed as US Attorney General. Mukasey also was the judge in the litigation between developer Larry Silverstein and several insurance companies arising from the destruction of the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001.

Michael Chertoff
Former Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division, at the Justice Department; now head of Homeland Security.

Richard Perle
One of Bush's foreign policy advisors, he is the chairman of the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board. A very likely Israeli government agent, Perle was expelled from Senator Henry Jackson's office in the 1970's after the National Security Agency (NSA) caught him passing Highly-Classified (National Security) documents to the Israeli Embassy. He later worked for the Israeli weapons firm, Soltam. Perle came from one the above mentioned pro-Israel thinktanks, the AEI. Perle is one of the leading pro-Israeli fanatics leading this Iraq war mongering within the administration and now in the media...." - Dual Citizenship -- Loyal to Whom?

America's seemingly unconditional love affair with secular Israel, based on the false system of dispensationalism, is the road to ruin in more ways than one for a once mighty nation.
I for one am glad to see a reputable and respected American theologian (as opposed to the false prophets named in the preamble to this essay) speaking out on the biblical position, and I hope there will be many in the US with ears to hear.

Excellent essay! With over 3000 views of this blog, I am surprised why more have not commented. I pray that it is not because more agree with Hagee than Dr. Reymond.

Zionism is here challenged and refuted. The main point of this article needs to be published widely!

Let us speak plainly. Zionism is a heresy and the church has been infiltrated by false prophets, herein named, which are being used to accomplish geo-political purposes of which the Zionist agenda can be seen in American foreign policy. Dare we say that it is plainly seen, most nakedly, by the neoconservatives, mostly Jewish, and Zionist propaganda fronts (like Hagee's Christians United For Israel) and their blueprint for a "new middle east" for which a "war on terrorism" has been declared for justification (launched based upon their unproven official story of 9/11). Both theological and political craft are being employed (evidence of conspiracy), largely to fuel support by the naive and apostate "evangelical" churches, for this geo-political agenda.

God Creates Evil (!!!)

“ Pt 2-You think you've heard it all? Think again! ”
Pt 2- If you’re still saying, “That makes God unjust; That's unfair; That's not the God of the Bible; My God would never do that; That would mean God is evil” etc. Then you are forsaking God’s Word and suppressing the truth in unrighteousness, for you are thinking that God is altogether like you. And it is no light matter, but wickedness! The cry from most church pews across the land is, “Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits”! [Isa. 30:10]. And sadly even the majority of those who claimed to be “Reformed” are reformed in name only. They preach a God who is foreign to the Scriptures. The Day cometh when God shall tell them what He told Job’s counselors, i.e. “My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of Me the thing that is right”! Until then let us praise God for men like Pastor Mencarow who are contending for the Faith and telling the truth like it is. I exhort those of you who are reading this comment to listen to the other sermons in this series for there is much in them to profit your soul.

“ Pt 1-You think you've heard it all? Think again! ”
The Queen of Sheba had heard of the fame and wisdom of Solomon, but when she came and saw it for herself she exclaimed, “Behold, the half was not told me!” You think you’ve heard it all? Think again! Especially those of you who rejoice in the truth of God’s sovereignty and take pride in being a “Calvinist.” Here’s a sermon that brings to light and expounds all those “difficult” and “controversial” scriptures about God’s Absolute Sovereignty which many a so called Calvinist[with a concern for God’s reputation] has explained away. Almost all the verses which show God to be the Absolute sovereign, not just over the “good” but even over the “evil”[not “calamity”(sic)]Pastor Mencarow masterfully sets forth and expounds. In everything we are to give thanks. This includes good and evil. This concept is foreign to many because the nature of man gravitates toward likening God to man. God reproves the wicked saying, “thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself!”[Psa. 50:21] But God is not a man! [Num. 23:19] Continued in pt. 2 below.

“ The Rage Of Antichrist Revealed! ”
A powerful message, with much forgotten history. "And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth" (Hebrews 11:37-38).

Isolated incidents in themselves often do not bring attention. When they happen multiple times, it calls for us to pay attention and take a stand. God gives us that opportunity, use it.

I guess Luther was seen to be rather rude by the enemies of the gospel when he nailed his bible protest to a church door? Jesus...was HE rude to the pharisees of his own day too? Matthew 23: 25-33?
