Great Sermon! After hearing all the negative commens about your sermon, I had to find and listen to it.I find your words to be accurate on the subject matter and only that some have taken only one statement, which is correct, out of text. This seems to be a favorite pastime of some, and they use these out of text to destroy the work of those that follow the scripture. I thankyou for delivering God's word as it is written, without adding text that is not in the scripture.. After listening I found only difference in our belief, that pertaining to food law. I read that we can eat "what was created to be recieved". This in my opinion, is between me and my maker...THANKYOU AGAIN FOR A GREAT AND TRUTHFUL SERMON
Great Sermon! Thank you, I came to know the Lord at 19 and was raised in the gettos of Camden NJ transformed and I am going to be 53 soon, this sermon helps so much, I thought I was the only one who felt this kind of loneliness. This sermon blessed me, thank you Jesus.
Great Truths! Like Eve I'm a former RC. Mercifully saved by the Lord in 1984. The doctrine of election is practically unknown in New Zealand. Christians have in the main never heard of it and if they have they simply will not believe it because on the whole it's just not taught. The main excuse is that it makes God unfair. They just don't have any appreciation of original sin and human depravity. Most churches in my country are Arminian to the core. Thank the Lord He rescued me from Catholicism and then from Protestant Arminianism (which is simply another form of Roman Catholicism). However, where I live there are no churches which preach the reformed doctrines of salvation. So thank you Pastor Knapp for your uplifting message and you raised a very pertinent point which is "Does Arminian preaching truly save the lost?
Fantastic sermon. As an excatholic I had detected an early stage in my conversion that the gospel preached at my Arminien church was nothing more then catholicism,in disguise. As every church I know teaches exactly the same doctrin I am now without a church, and to hear this sermon, only enforces my beliefs? Come out from her my people etc.Thank you Pastor for his boost to my faith in true doctrin.
A Timely Message This was a very timely message for me. I did not realize just how encouraging the words spoken by Pastor Knapp would be to me. I recommend that others listen and be exhorted as fellow pilgrims. Thank you Pastor Knapp for also reminding us to check our hearts concerning the 'evaluation of a church'.
