“ Right on! ”
This sermon is a great and much needed reminder to be not just hearers of the Word, but doers.

“ An Encouragement If You Are Weary ”
If you are feeling weighed down by the continual rejection of your evangelistic efforts, listen to this sermon to be reminded of the mighty work that God is doing through you without your saying a word. And at the same time you will be re-enthused to both work and speak for Him, because He is doing more than you know. Very encouraging.

“ What is meekness? ”
Sting's lyric "They say the meek shall inherit the earth - how long will you keep it?" sums up how the world views meekness as a sort of undesirable herd-mentality weakness. But what does the Bible say? What is the Biblical definition of meekness? This sermon looks at the root of the word itself, and has several examples of people in the Bible who demonstrate Biblical meekness. Also, the sermon ends with a challenging call to apply this truth to your own life. I recommend this sermon to anyone who wants to understand Biblical meekness.

“ If Only WE Knew! ”
I've re-listened to this sermon a few times recently, to remind myself of God's bigger perspective on my life. Too often I, like Jacob, am crying "Everything is against me!", when really, if I but knew it, everything is FOR me. God is working out plans that I may only see in heaven - but what amazing plans they are! Listen to this sermon if you want to stop thinking on a small scale.

“ So True ”
I've been musing on this concept for the last few days since I heard this sermon. Every day there is something that happens which disturbs my 'happiness' - but what a joyful reminder that nothing, absolutely nothing, can disturb my 'blessedness', in Christ. Praise Him for that!

Love #1 - Receiving God's Love

“ What does 'God is love' mean to you? ”
Everyone knows 'God is love'; even people who are not Christians say this. But what does 'God is love' mean to you in light of the Bible's revelation? Listen to this exceptional gospel message - preached in four parts when Pastor Quigley was in Ottawa (hard to believe Canadians could say anything abooooot his accent - but if you listen close, it's mentioned in passing) - but the first part is the most important, a call for you to listen to the gospel and respond.

“ Your walk with Christ - a personal appeal ”
Along the lines of Kierkegaard's concept of a personal, inward Christian faith rather than just assenting to what a group believes, this sermon takes the series to a whole different level by personally challenging the listener's walk with Christ - are you imitating Christ in your life? This challenge brings out the real meaning of being a Christian.

“ Learn how Jesus won over temptation-useful sermon ”
This sermon is a very useful, hands-on look at how Jesus Christ won over Satan's temptation and has a lot of application for Christians in today's world.

“ If you know the true, you can avoid the false... ”
I've heard that treasury officials learn what real money looks like so it is easy to spot counterfeit money. This series teaches the Kingdom of Christ -- so it's easy to spot routine and false religion by comparison.

“ A spring in a dry land ”
This series on the basics of Christianity is a spring of fresh, pure water in a dry and polluted land. We're living in a time when so many voices make so many claims to teaching the Christian truths that it's easy to be confused and misled. This series goes back to the Bible to teach the basics about the historical, Biblical Christian faith. I can't recommend this enough. I wish I had had it a decade ago when I was hearing so many different voices.

“ A gospel message ”
While this message is aimed at the young people hearing it, it's also a call to anyone listening to consider very seriously if they are reconciled to God. A question many religions try to answer, but what is their authority? Here, the pastor lays down the gospel so clearly that any listener can pick it up.

“ Changing how you view religion ”
This series on Malachi will change how you view religion. Although it's aimed at Christians -- both those involved in routine religion and those who are trying not to be -- the messages may be of interest to those who don't believe, because they show clearly that what passes for "religion" in society is not true, Biblical Christianity. If you've ever felt like you're missing something when you examine Christianity, you may very well be. This series will show you the difference between Biblical Christianity and what passes as modern, materialistic "Christianity".

Amen! This sermon is appropriate for America, as well as Scotland. May the Church once more desire to walk in the ways of God. I pray others who are concerned about the decaying culture in their nation will listen to this sermon.

“ A challenge ”
Although Malachi was addressing God's people with God's word it is still relevant for the Christian Church today. Rev. Quigley's preaching on the problem the Church is currently facing is directed to the leadership with the challenge not to fear man but to fear God is powerfully presented.

“ is there one among you who might shut the doors? ”
Until this sermon, I was getting into this series, rooting for the pastor as he went after "them" - the unnamed leaders who were responsible for turning aside from the way, causing many to stumble, and corrupting the covenant. I was lamenting the state of religion in America, where pastors aren't afraid even of men any longer. But I had to check myself, because this sermon hits close to home, talking about known sin that hasn't been repented. (Going back to Rom 6:20-23.) What am I doing with my time and money? Am I as close to the way as I ought to be, or close to the world? All the more convicting to hear so much about "them" and then have the spotlight turned on me!

“ Praying Pastors Must Listen To This ”
If you're praying for revival, and yearn for direction, this sermon series on "Routine Religion" may help. Rev. Quigley gives the listerner concepts which may enable the praying pastor to add program to his godly yearnings. I found the last third of the message particularly powerful and helpful. His insight into the text with Malachi's idea of "closing the doors of the churches" was street preachable! I loved it. Just the phrase "Routine Religion" is magic for a series! All of us need to find ways of breaking our godly, conservative folk, OUT OF THEIR ROUTINE RELIGION! The orthodox church must find a way to challenge Satan in our day. This series is really helpful! You could easily adapt it to your own situation.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Mr. Wilberforce's passion for the lost at home and abroad made me ashamed of myself for not praying and witnessing as I should. In the midst of persecution he kept on going be cause he kept his on the prize of the high calling--Christ Jesus and he was not ashamed nor did he care what people he just prayed and saw Christ transform.
