You brought into your closing prayer what I wanted to say in this comment. In so many of your sermons, if not all, you always bring us to a place of challenge to examine ourselves in light of His Word you've just laid out for us. “ Good biblical teaching. ” Blessed message! Good, careful biblical argumentation of what is the sealing of the Spirit. The presence of the Holy Spirit in us has an eschatological significance!
“ Difficult ” Being a divorced guy, I found this teaching really hard. I have not heard anyone bring all of the gospel teachings about divorce into line like this. Until or unless I hear a more convincing counter argument, I think I will have to stand by your words. This may be very difficult as my congregation teaches differently.
