Powerful sermon! scripture correction needed This is a great sermon. I have listen to it 3 times. I do need to point out at 21:50 he points out a scripture in MATT 17;29-31, MATT only has 27 verses. upon study he is trying to say ACTS 17;29-31
Great Sermon! My son is a true ADHD child and after 8 years of being on variety of meds...I pulled him off...I had to step out on faith and Let the Lord...in addition, the my church has stepped up to the plate to be the men in his life...those meds... all decrease the size of the brain and can cause permanent delusion and delayed in emotionality ...this is especially seen in teens. God Bless you!
Great Sermon! wow I really enjoyed listening to that, thanks for sharing this, I am currently being treated for anxiety and I always refused the meds, this has shown me 100% the right path I need to take
Great Sermon! Fantastic sermon! U nailed it. I've been spiritually abused by people saying "God told me".... This sermon tests the spirits and encourages us as Believers to stand up for truth and not to be so naive and ignorant of the scriptures! Thank you, Voddie, for humbling urself and for not being afraid to preach the word of God. My husband was saved under Steve Lawson's preaching over 20 years ago. He and his wife Anne ministered to us greatly! Bless you!
Great Sermon! Fine sermon and sound teaching! It is refreshing to hear about liberation in Christ rather than liberation from politics! The Black community in America has very few true preachers of the gospel and are in need of men like Voddie Baucham! We must pray that Christ will raise up those with the truth of the gospel for this segment of our population!
Great Sermon! All I can say is Deuteronomy 4:39 Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the L ord , He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other. I used to have a problem with even reading Romans 9 let alone understand, but I thanked God for his mercy and grace in allowing me to hear this, he's the GOD and I am mere man.
Deep insight into the 23rd Psalm Very good material here that drives through the sappy sentimentalism of the 23rd Psalm to show that this text goes far beyond being an Osteenian motivational passage and rather follows on the heels of Psalm 22, the passage that foreshadows the sacrificial death of Christ. This Psalm was written for the elect, though who are of the flock of Christ. Equally impressive from this message was the strong reminder that we as believers are all as sheep: defenseless, harmless, and completely dependent on God for every aspect of our lives. What came to mind was how Voddie's facebook followers, who proudly boast of their gun-ownership and willingness to kill intruders, would be well-served from this message and the meekness and humility the psalmist writes about here in describing those of his flock, and not try to be "sheep pretending to be wolves."
Great Sermon! "For it is not those who obey the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." Rom. 2:13
Spurgeon was full of what he dumped in the pot.
Amazing Sermon! A lot going on this week and I needed this reminder to my weary soul. Trials bring me to all seeing and all knowing God's feet.
"... And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold , the tabernacle of God is with them and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people and God Himself be with them and be their God....." Rev. 21:3-4
Thank you brother Lyons may God bless you and your family and your ministry
