Blesse work of the Lord. I thank the Lord for this message and I praise Him for that testimony, for all that He had done there in all these 40 years. I pray that God may continue to bless this congregation. I would interpret differently the event in Gethsemany.
A great blessing! Thank you very much, Rev. Foster, for these anniversary messages. They were such a blessing to me. May the Lord help us all to stand steadfast
"One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts" (Psalm 145:4).
Great Sermon! This is a very powerful message. Very enlightening about preaching God's message for today for this evil age and not only preaching the truth of God's Word and the doctrines of truth. It truly is a very challenging day for preachers and the church seriously needs to undergird in prayer these fierce, uncompromising preachers.
Great Comfort and Challenge to Believers! This entire series on Ruth by Rev. Ivan Foster is such a blessing, and every one of the messages would be profitable to a believer to hear!
This message particularly struck me - especially toward the end, when the dear brother makes it clear that we are to rest in the work of Christ for our sanctification.
Well might we say with Naomi that "the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day."
We must lay all duty upon Christ to perfect us and present us faultless before Him with exceeding Joy!
Hallelujah, Christ has done all things well!
Blessed sermon. This is a very blessed message. Especially the first point touched my heart. It is of no great use to know intellectually many correct things about the Lord Jesus, if He is not the King of my life and the Him whom my soul loves. This thought humbles me.
Challenging Sermon! "Lord it is my chief complaint
That my love is weak and faint,
But I love Thee and adore,
Oh for Grace to love Thee more!"
Agreed what was said about Facebook and social media. It doesn't sit well with those who seek to emulate the meekness of Christ and Moses.
