A gift from the NT! God has blessed us with these 2 sections in the NT, in Matt & Luke. What a blessing these texts were within the overall Jonah expositions, and were used to stir the souls all today. God is good, and His Word is a gift to all! Even those who are perishing, these both texts stir the unsaved, either to repentance, or condemnation. It's my prayer that there wasn't one there today who will not repent of their sins. Also, the believer has much to think about from this sermon. May it cause the believer to live life for Christ, and Christ alone.
Great Sermon! Finding this sermon was a mercy of the Lord. After being out of work for two years I was starting to have a pity party and dwelling on the constant rejection and becoming depressed and introspective about the past and feeling hopeless about the future. The exhortation to have faith in God because He is in charge and can bring about a reversal of circumstances whenever He chooses and the reproof to walk uprightly and redeem the time while we are waiting on God was very encouraging.
Also the reminder to be forgiving and to look to do good to any who may have contributed to our rejection, loss, or suffering as that attitude reflects Christ.
Great Sermon! Wouldn't it make sense to add repent and believe to number 5 at the end of this sermon? Otherwise you built your own case against 5 before presenting it. Regardless, I can't say how much I appreciate your sermons. Yesterday I was relieved to finally hear someone make sense as to why I don't attend church in your sermon Ivory Houses & Fat Cows: The Excessive Nonsense of the Modern Christian Church. It gave me a renewed sense of hope that my frustration was not in vain but in part was even if not entirely biblical. I hope you're well. Thank you!
Great Sermon! Great, loving, powerful sermon.May Jesus Christ use this message to reconcile many brothers throughout the body of Christ. We are to follow our Master's command to love one another and to forgive one another.Be ye reconciled one to another!!!
Consider sending this message to relevant people Please prayerfully, and WORDfully Consider sending this message to relevant people- both to those who promote infant baptism, and those who are unsure on this issue.
Great Sermon! A Christmas sermon full of Christocentric theology! This was not only a good apologetical sermon for the brethren to grow in, but also a spirit filled sermon pointing the believer to REJOICE! It's not everyday that we get the best of both worlds in one sermon. If you want to grow in your understanding of the doctrine of Christ, and also to be encouraged to rejoice, give a listen to this sermon. It's my prayer you also are blessed as I was today.
Great Sermon! Great sermon, very passionate exhortation and admonition to believers to follow the Lord fully, and how to be able to give an answer for the hope that is within you in an age when the defense of the gospel is frowned upon.
Great Sermon! A sermon that needs to be applied daily. I soon to we wander in our thoughts when we're in prayer? If you're like me, the answer is often. This sermon was a blessing to listen, but more importantly to be applied!
Keep preaching the word! Hi, I just wanted to encourage and thank you for your ministry. I have been listening to your series "The Devil's Wiles" and I have been very blessed. I have been saved 10 years delivered from drug and alcohol addiction. I am a singer songwriter ... Anyways keep on preaching the truth people across the world are listening (sermonaudio).. God richly bless you.
Great Sermon! I just listened to this sermon and it was excellent. Most sermons on the submission of wives end up primarily as a sermon to men; but not this one. It dealt with the subject matter in an unapologetic manner. Thank you pastor!
Great Sermon! A sermon we need to hear weekly is one that speaks about faith, and this is one of those sermons I'll be listening to again. Everything the Christian does is by faith, God given faith. Please listen to this sermon, Lord willing, your faith will be increased.
Great Sermon! Dear pastor Joseph Losardo,
God bless you sir for your sermon
on Biblical Headship - It is very sound and godly seeded with sound biblical doctrine. I hardly do this, but I couldn't resist but send you a thank you note.
God bless you.
Great Sermon! I just finished listening to your message on biblical headship and it was certainly a blessing to me. I just hope you realize the extent your ministry is affecting the body of Christ. I would think that many Pastors would look around them and sort of limit their influence to their local body, but that is not the case I can assure you. ... I thank the Lord for you often.
Politically-Incorrect Sermon! This pastor dares to thrust through the doctrines of Political Correctness in regard to Men and Women and Marriage in society today with the Two-Edged Sword of the Word. Feminism and Humanist Democracy have infiltrated the church as much as society and a simple reading of the scriptures that this pastor touches on would make any politician shudder, and even most professing Christians to scramble to play down and attempt to neuter this teaching of authority and headship of men in God's Social Order. A follow-up sermon on women wearing hats in church, as a symbol of submission, as they used to (1 Cor. 11) would be in order. Even the seminars of "Biblical Manhood and Womanhood" attempt to flatter women into co-equal authority and soften men into feminine or pretended "mutual" submission. The truth is that Marriage and Society are now in chaos and have been since the Civil War when the Humanist Philosophy of absolute Equality (anti-authoritarianism) forced Abolitionism and sparked Feminism revolutionizing everything. The casualties of broken marriages are its fruit. Don't expect society to change until "conservative" churches do first, which will require pastors to Man-up and boldly preach and enforce it contrary to society's political-correctness.
