Great Sermon! Pastor Bill, I find much comfort in this sermon. As hard as I try I feel my sinfulness and sometimes I just fail completely . I am so thankful for the imputed righteousness of Christ before God in heaven, and His death for my sins. A true blessing to hear this sermon and rest in when I go to sleep knowing that I am forgiven and accepted in Jesus. Thank you for this sermon.
Great Sermon! Feel Gods power in the message. Thank you for sharing your gift..God always brings the right message, at the right time. This sermon gave a greater understanding and clarity about salvation, a must hear for the world...
Great Sermon! We love hearing over and over The Righteousness of God, The Righteousness of Christ, and we are very thankful you never get tired of preaching this Glorious Truth! I am so thankful He has given me a heart to obey this form of doctrine. We love hearing you preach on the eternal union which is awesome.
Great Sermon! Jim, we glory in all you preached in this message. The way you brought forth these eternal truths is glorious to us. We have listened to this message a good 7 times and will listen many more. To know that Christ was responsible for all our sins from before the foundation of the world as our surety is awesome.
Great Sermon! This was an awesome message. It explains clearly natural man made religion (I thought) and God's true way of saving sinners by the righteousness and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ given freely to us, (God wrought)
Great Sermon! If you are a child of the Sovereign God who saved you by Grace in Christ alone, then this sermon is for you. You will give all glory and honor to Him alone, and as a result, will be motivated to live in gratitude towards God because he knows he is unworthy sinner who justly deserve God's wrath saved only by the sheer mercy of God. The goats will never believe this truth--God's good news. The righteousness of Christ alone is imputed to unworthy, undeserving sinners.
Thank you That was an interesting sermon.
The preacher did a great job in explaining how those in the smaller circle ended up there.
If I understood correctly, we believe because we are saved and we are saved by the blood of the Lamb
By that reasoning, those in the bigger circle do not believe because they are unsaved. My question is this, why are they unsaved? It's obviously not because they do not believe because
we are not saved because we believe,
we are saved only by the precious blood of Christ.
Hmm... "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" (1 John 2:2, KJV). I take it that the "he" is Jesus and "our" is the third person plural possessive pronoun when broken into its components means the Apostle John (the writer of the letter) and any readers and hearers of the letter in John's present all the way down through history to our present which would include you and me. I also take it that "the world" is the same "world" that the Apostle John quotes our Lord Jesus as saying "I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world" (John 17:6). The same "world" that believers are no longer of (John 17:16) and that hates believers because Jesus chose them "out of the world" (John 15:18-19). I suggest that you do a topical study on the word "kosmos." Hopefully with God's grace it will help undo that strange logic that clouds what is so plainly clear that even a child could (and should) understand because the Word of God means what it says. Man does not decide how God's Word is used to fit his doctrines.
May God be forever glorified.
Straightforward Alfred: Did all Natural Israel (as you say) enter into heaven? Your answer must be some. If some entered heaven - how? They believed God. Is there more than one way of salvation? No, it is all of grace through Christ. The way and faith of Abraham ALWAYS represented true spiritual Israel and it is the faith that Christians should hold today. Anything else, demeans Christ.
Great Sermon! Mr. Casey please explain, Are you saying that the church (Jew and Gentile) has replaced the natural Israel? That he Church is now spiritual Israel? That the church has or will become ALL Israel? If this true, then why would the natural branches (Israel) be regraffed in to the natural olive tree? Any way you interpret Romans 11, there are two separate branches that will be graffed into the same olive tree, one wild and one natural with the same root. And that root which is Abraham.
