I really liked this, but... I really enjoyed this, but I was a little misled by the title. This is not a reading of the preface "The Translators to the Reader", but rather an overview or summary of what Dr. Jack Moorman gleaned from it, with a few long quotations of it included. I found a reading (though not perfect) on Librivox, for those who are interested.
Excellent points raised Thankyou Dr Khoo for some excellent points raised as to the KJB and its superiority to the modern versions. I loved the point you raised that to hold to a doctrine of inspiration 'without' preservation is illogical. Brilliant point and true. Thankyou.
Great Sermon! This is my favorite Dean Burgon Society video. Every believer in Christ should see it, and if they do not turn away from the Critical Text after listening to Dr. Waite speak the truth concerning its Gnostic heresies, they will just be in a sad, pitiful state until the Lord returns.
Great Sermon! Wonderful sermon! Everyone who walks into church every Sunday carrying or reading from an NIV, NASB, NKJV or ESV should listen to this! I've listened to it twice now and will probably hear it again soon. Tremendous lessons in this sermon, even beyond the obvious.
Great Sermon! What an awesome sermon! I listened to it twice, put it on my Facebook and my blog!
How blessed the days in which perverse copies of the word of God were not around! Even the song/hymns of that time show the inspiration there was to be had when it was that the King James Bible was the ONLY bible around!
Today, the pathetic "music" played through CCM is evidence of the leaven that has permeated the would-be believers!
The Lord gave the word:
great was the company of those that published it.
Psalm 68:11 (King James Bible)
Thank you for the privilege of being able to listen to the many wonderful sermons you here have!
May God bless you all!
Great Sermon! Great sermon, again! I just wish there were more of Dr. Ruse Dennis, Sr.'s sermons to be heard! There are only three on this site!
I love it how he goes after the schools and the reflection that bad teaching ends up having that affects the church at large, the body of believers!
Thank you! It was great to hear this sermon!
Great Sermon! Great defense of the true word of God, the King James Bible, inerrant and perfect for the English-speaking peoples!
Praise God for it!
6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalm 12:6-8 (King James Version)
