Great Sermon! I am sure this message will trouble many of us who are reformed and hold to the providential preservation of the word of God. The video in question can be accessed on Pastor Riddle's website blog via his SermonAudio page. This 'word magazine' is a 'must listen' and thought provoking (even disturbing) as we often tend to follow without question the most acclaimed authorities on textual issues. The Muslim Apologist saw something plain and obvious, but do we?
Great Sermon! Having listened to 'WM # 25: Review: Wretched Interview with James White' and followed the same information on your website blog I found this current rejoinder to be vey interesting indeed due to the points that you have graciously raised. It would be interesting to see Dr James White address those points and respond in kind. I am sure this sermon would be of interest to all who take the time to listen carefully.
Great study. This was a good study which showed the erroneous theology and methods of this preacher. We must preach God's sovereignty in salvation and revival, because this is the biblical teaching.
Great price. What a great price to pay in order to be a faithful minister of Christ! What a love for Christ to be ready to suffer so much for Him! What a love of God for sinner to prepare such servants who are ready to do all things for Him and for the salvation of sinners.
Interesting. Useful and interesting presentation of the life and ministry of Broadus, as pastor and professor. Also, it is interesting the discussion about Crawford Toy's move toward Liberalism and, then, Unitarianism.
I like the information Thanks for the information, but the summation falls a bit short. My sister is SDA, but I have read a lot of their teachings and talked to her a lot to know that their teaching on the Trinity is way outside orthodoxy, and they are very works based. My sister even calls going to church on Sunday the mark of the beast. They came out with a [per]version of the Bible recently called the "Clear Word Bible" that is heresy at its finest.
I do think all-in-all that your sermon is nice, especially the reaching out advice at the end.
