“ Great Sermon! ”
BRING BACK THE KING #2, this struck a cord in me. When I look back on my life, I can see that I was like a sheep that went astray. I never had any strong Christian influence to lead me. Maybe my life would have been so different. Even so Jesus was with me in all my darkness. Thank you for a wonderful message. It makes me angry to think that I didn't have good Christian teaching/leadership. This country had gone to hell in a handbasket and I hate it. My brother and his wife belong to the Episcapal Church and they are very proud that they are the FIRST to have homosexual priests. I said to them "what about Romans chapter one? God hates that life style" They think that the bible is oldfashioned and they are modern!! Rome fell because it went into that life style! But you know, you just can't get through. They think I am too narrow minded. God Bless you. Nancy

“ Great Sermon! ”
I understand you now that I've listened to Bring Back the King. When I first saw that you were a Presbyterian I thought "no way". Here in the USA we call your church "the frozen chosen". Anyway, you were spot on in that sermon. Comment by Rev Ivan Foster. Thanks Nancy. There are Presbyterians and then there are FREE PRESBYTERIANS!! We are not linked to the apostasy and popery that has riddled so many Presbyterian denominations. We separated from the Presbyterian Church of Ireland in 1951 because of its modernism and links with the Romeward trend. Regards, IF.

Sermon:
Dare we hope for revival? Pt 1
Rev. Ivan Foster
1
comment
“ Introduction. ”
A message about Christ's return. However, this message didn't get to the point of explaining how Matthew 25:1-11 discusses revival. * Response from Rev. Ivan Foster: Part ONE of this message dealt with the relevance of the parable of the ten virgins to the end times, emphasizing the word THEN..., Matt 25:1. Part TWO deals with the fact that it is clearly intimated by the Saviour that there will be a restoration of first century Christian watchfulness for His return, just before He returns - and that is revival!!

Yes, in this world we are not at home and we do not feel at home, but we long to be with the Lord, to escape sin and to be clothed with new bodies.

Christians have the blessing of living with certainties, because they believe the revelation of God in His Word.

“ New perspective. ”
Praise the Lord! This message puts things in the right perspective. Many times I tend to complain too much about my sufferings or situation. But I saw that in comparison with the sufferings of Paul and of other Christians, my sufferings are nothing. And the perspective of heavenly glory and rewards helps us to see in different way our sufferings.

“ Good reminder. ”
I recognize in me this danger: to think too highly about men, about preachers, theologians. I must reind myself that these all there earthen vessels and their accomplishments are due to God's power working in them and through them.

Secret of self-sacrifice Pt 2
Rev. Ivan Foster

comment
“ New creation. ”
The man without Christ, who is is spiritual darkness, cannot turn his darkness into life by his natural powers. It needs the power of God to create light in the sinner and to bring him to the knowledge of God in Christ.

“ Blindness. ”
What wrong is to think that everything what is needed is to present clearly the Gospel to the sinner. And, after that, he can choose to believe or not. We have done everything, and now it is up ti him! But he is blind and only the Holy Spirit can open his eyes to see that clear Gospel. This message presents very celarly this truth.
