A Hard Message to Deliver! Brother Bill, may you be encouraged in that God, who has the eyes of flaming fire, of which you mentioned in your message, sees the intent of your heart; the love and truth that you have poured out, seasoned with salt and grace upon your flock. "The Church" is just like the Jews, a stiff necked people, and may they heed the warnings that cry from your lips by the Spirit of God. Jesus is not an accessory - He is all that we have. God be praised that you are not a man pleaser, but a man who is giving God the Glory that is due Him. Look up and lift up your head, because your redemption draws near.
Great Sermon! What a great message Pastor; thank you once again for a wonderful sermon on oneness and unity. All of us should understand the difference between a false unity and a true one that was called for by our Lord. Great message!
Great Sermon! I want to add; if I were to choose a man to exhort the local church, to prepare, and whip members into shape, preparing members for persecution, reconnecting them with the Head; I would point to you. You do the ministry of exhortation with the passion of Christ for His Bride and I truly appreciate this.
Great Sermon! Your words "New Society" concern me. Until the American members of Christ reconnect with the Head, Jesus Christ; chapter four of Ephesians is impossible. Pastors, evangelist, and members of leadership have their place as do those who are in fact connected the head, but in a way that might rub you the wrong way.
Remember the words; "Judge not." Some GOD sends out according to His purpose, in His time. Brother do not judge the Body of Believers according to your studies. I have been there and done that. We do not know a fraction of what we think we know. GOD will build His church, be very careful that your passion does not over whelm those who have been beaten sorely by the local church. GOD'S workers, work, they cannot help but work. The church is not the institution just because you work your ministry there. The Body of Believers is Nations of members linked to one another under the Head.
Great Sermon! Thanks again Joe for your amazing series in Ephesians. This was powerful in that it directs us to look to what's (supposed to be) in the clay pots and help us focus on Him - Jesus. There are so many problems that arise when we compare and avoid folks that are not 'our speed' when we should be looking past that.
God bless your new year and your family and your church family - our prayers are with and for you so very often!
Great Sermon! The sermons and the teachings from Bread of Life Fellowship is anointed by the Blessed Holy Spirit. Keep on going. Keep on the topics that GOD marks out for you. You are right on target for the glory of GOD...Bless His Holy Name!
Great Sermon! Pastor, had GOD not raised up Godly men, and women who taught me the extreme importance of "reading the Word, daily, prayerfully, meditating upon His written Word; nothing would I have had to stand upon as a foundation for the extreme trials of the last three years of my life. KEEP ON PREACHING the way you are.Prepare the US church for persecution. It is not coming, it is here and I am not joking.
Great Sermon! Your sermon makes me want to take heed very single time that I hear GOD'S word. This message is a great need. I do thin that there are some, for what ever reason, are outside of the church's building. Whether it is for recuperation, illness, discipline, waiting on the Lord to be sent out etc...what type of encouragement would a preaching/pastor give to those? There is a great need for this because shut ins are often neglected and misunderstood. Can I challenge you to think about this and perhaps give a message on this topic? I would appreciate it. Thank-you.
Great Sermon! Excellent points made Pastor Bill. It baffles my mind how so many old and new testament scriptures can be ignored. Why is there such fear of Isreal being saved as God's Word so clearly expounds?
Great Sermon! The entire teaching to the people is a man centered to do list. All goodness (called the fruit of the Spirit) coming from man, obedience producing good works, rather than "Christ in you the hope of glory," doing it through you. The "Jesus" of this man made doctrine just somehow seems to send sweet little, warm feelings, blessings for all of this OBEDIENCE. As long as they keep Jesus under their feet, and the truth of His completed, finished work suppressed, they don't even have to pray together because after all look up, the rapture is right up their coming for them. No responsibility to the poor, and special needs of the voiceless and unseen is ever preached. No, "GO. Go. Go; feed, and clothe and comfort, bind up, teach and send." It is all about staying here while letting some "faithful man" preach his whole Christian view in your face every single Sunday. And if someone different comes in, beware---they are divisive before they even open their mouth, they are dubbed a threat. This is not the true Church of Jesus Christ and this is a dangerous movement.
Great Sermon! Wew! I new stand rebuked, and corrected, and facing a new direction. GOD has split the fine hair that long needed to be split. My Presbyterian pastor's mom was of Armenian, and she implanted seeds of total dependence upon GOD, through Jesus Christ. My Lutheran pastor encouraged his congregation weekly saying; "Your sins are forgiven in Jesus Christ." It is the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ, by grace through faith, plus nothing that we stand upon, that we guard, and defend; all else is secondary. We are in a changing time in the American Church and I praise GOD for the leaders that He has raised up. When we are proud over our knowledge of grace we become morons. I think that I have heard you correctly now.
