Great Sermon! Where are the Ian Paisleys' in America? May God in his Mercy send us one or raise up such a one for these confusing, soggy and messy ecclesiastical times in this nation. Preach on, Preach loud, Preach clear. Preach strong. By the power of the Holy Ghost. Preach the Word, Preach the Gospel, keep on opposing the false bretheren, the apostasy, and false unifiers. Thank You brother.
Great Sermon! The pope may change, but Jesus remains the same.
Which one am I trusting? Theres no mention of the pope in the bible! I am saved like any other Christian, through the merit of Christ! Oh bless his name. I long for the day when I shall be with him!
Bad form, Geus! You would do well, Geus, to check your information before you start calling people liars. You are fortunate that the good man who runs this site does not have the time to read and filter all public comments, for if he did, it would be your slanderous comment that would be removed, and you who would be blocked, not Cy. Beside which, your quarrel is with scripture itself. If you were to read I Thesalonians 2 you would see quite plainly that the inspired, inerrant Word of God calls the Jews killers of the Lord Jesus. It may have been through the instrument of the Romans, but again, if you were to read the Gospel accounts of the crucifixion, you would see that the order came reluctantly from Pilate. Only at the Jews' blood thirsty cries of "Crucify him, Crucify him!" did he finally relent. I believe you owe Cy an apology, and you ought to be much more careful about accusing people of sin in the future, lest you commit it yourself.
Memorable Paisley is a fiery preacher who thunders from the pulpit. He takes this question of Elijah's day and applies it to today. Elijah came on the scene "when apostasy reached it's zenith". There is much apostasy today, without question. An apostate built Jericho, we are told, and God had a man (named Elijah) for the hour. Even "evangelicals" are resurrecting Babylonianism today in the churches, he says, (spoken already in 1970). He covers the obvious perversion of the scripture today also. "God is looking for a man who will do battle for the LORD". He wants a fighting church, not a compromising one, not a petty one, not an isolationist one..."I can show you churches in this city that once were a power for God and they are blighted today (!)..."
Great Sermon! Sir,
I had heard of you on the BBC. I am glad you got to explaining fundamentalism and apostasy. I confess, the Irish have made some distinctions in the mind of some Indians who are likely to be apostates if the English overrule them. A matter like this tells of some invisible influence on the Indians seeking Christ with the aid of the Devil and only to find they have run into accusings on names and such ills that do not but show some form of contmpt on the belivers where God's grace can mend them into a respectable silence. If only we had more self-control then all the ills made from the pandora's box of the modern mouthpiece might have more music to hum than recall bouts of irritants that can solve no problem Thanks for sharing Fundamentalism and Apostasy. I might require prayer for saying things I could never got out of. But it so happens, they were all inside, Luke 12:2-3 and my rooftop has a sky opening to it. Psalm 19:1.Thank God.
Great Sermon! I had the wonderful priveledge of hearing this great man of God many times while I was a student at BJU in the eighties. He is what we all need today. A man genuinely filled with the Spirit and sold out for his Lord!
Thank you! Dear Rev. Dr. Paisley,
God bless you; and thank you, once again, for publishing your sermons online for free so that we can be blessed over here in Thailand. And thank you for your example and bold stand for God's word. I do look forward to meeting you sometime soon on this side of glory. You are an example and an encouragement to the next generation of Christians. Thank you.
As I have been blessed by your preaching, I have sent two links of myself preaching to bless you from the streets of Bangkok, Thailand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wx167HuOHH8 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps2v1FNINjM . God bless you.
In Christ Jesus the Lord,
Great Sermon! The Lord, our God, has blessed you mightily, Ian Paisley, for He hath given you a word, in season, for him who is weary. As the worlds citizens trumpet inane babble with a knowing superior simpatico, and fools wink and agree, assessing and pronouncing judgment, proclaiming, "Actions speak louder then words", our God, the Lord Jesus Christ, who knows all our actions and the thoughts behind them as well, declares, forever, "By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned". So preach on, Ian Paisley may He continue to strengthen you, and fill you to overflowing, with all knowledge and wisdom, that the blood soaked gospel of our Lord might be boldly proclaimed by you and those who have a hearing ear and a contrite heart. Hallelujah.
Great Sermon! Don´t misunderstand me please, It is quite a joy that our baby finally sleeps. This is the third time and I have only tried this three times, that our dear son Erik falls asleep within ten minutes of looking at the screen silently and with a sweet babysmile and happy eyes, listening to this sermon the Virgin birth by Mr Paisley. Sometimes this is the only thing that works. Thank You sir. Personally I like the message but I need to point out I and a few others had barely any pain in childbirth and labour means labour not necessarily pain, study hebrew original version and ladies quit being afraid of childbirth...it can be empowering, if not messed around with, although You are not a virgin. (Our both children were born quickly at home with my husband only and the third is on its way. I sometimes wonder How does the Lord want us women to give birth nowadays, I would love to hear a message of the strength of a holy pure childbirth the way God intended it and the spiritual connection with that and familybonding.
Very informative Sermon! This sermon is as a song all the way.
The previous commenter, Cy, is lying. The Romans killed Jesus Christ. You can check this in the Bible, even on the Roman Catholic paintings portray a Jew being killed by the Romans.
Romans, the lying Roman Catholics, it looks the same to me.
The enemies of God.
Any ways, I came here back again to mention that I uploaded this file to mediafire, but it was deleted there. While I do this one file in order for people to order the whole CD, DVD, or books by Dr. Paisley, I see no reason why such removals are done with copyrights infringement as an excuse to censor Protestant Preachers. Currently Martin Luther's book on Satanic backgrounds of the Pope is censored here on the mainland, how far is people to stay being deceived?
And why was Cy's comment added here?
I would block such a liar and deceiver on every website that I'm a webmaster of.
Great Sermon! Ian Paisley, God has used you mightily.
Thank God, and thank you for your obedience and service.
When any man has an encounter with God, there be no chain of man to bind him henceforth. Only the proclivity to sin will dog him, but no man, neither any man's ways.
It matters not where he may stand, be it Rome, America, China, India, Persia or Jerusalem.
The fight of faith is to believe, no matter what, that God the Father, through and with Christ is responsible for it all, as we are then, to Him.
And to live that, come whatever may befall us, whatever anyone may do to us, or what we have done.
May He bless you, keep you and shine the light of His countenance upon you until that perfect day.
