Great Sermon! I was looking at this passage of Scripture and wondering what does it say, what does it mean, and how does it apply and this message answered all these questions very well. I recommend it.
Jesus asks, 'Do you love me?' This is a wonderful sermon. It clearly and accurately describes the core question that Jesus asked Peter, and the same question we all face. Do we love him? More than all this world and the things in it? More than our sins? Pastor Caldwell has a clear, articulate style that focuses like a laser on the important details. He also brings out aspects of this question that I had never considered. The greatest compliment that I can pay after hearing this is: I felt convicted despite my belief. It will strengthen my relationship with Jesus Christ, as I ponder this and ask myself this question day after day. You will be touched by this message as well.
'Man's best works are his greatest sins.' This is an excellent and fascinating sermon. Very powerful concepts that put us in the right perspective. You will be blessed by this message, as I was. I am eager to hear more of God's word spoken through the messages of Pastor Caldwell.
A clear message on justification! "Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be unto our God for ever and ever" Amen
Great Sermon! From the sermon: "If you stop short of a substitutionary & atoning death, that someone died for our sins, then you don’t have the Gospel."
Great Sermon! Super encouraging for a child of God. I love hearing about God's sovereignty. Complaining, in light of the fact that God is sovereign, isn't right. My situation or circumstance that encourages my complaining, God will work for good. That's his promise. Thank you pastor for preaching such pure truth. There are so many nuggets in this sermon that will encourage the righteous. Please listen to this and be encouraged!
A Much Needed Message! I was very encouraged by this message and I would encourage others to take a listen. Pastor Richard's commentary on 1 Corinthians 1:17 is timely and powerful for churches that have neglected gospel preaching!
The heart of the gospel! This is such an excellent presentation on the heart of the gospel-justification through faith alone in Christ alone. For believers, this is a great reminder of God's grace towards and the importance of the gospel message. This is also a great message to pass on to someone who isn't saved.
Great Sermon! This is a good sermon for knowing the key to life, especially experiencing 'overcoming life'. Our ambition to 'know Him', has to be top priority over all other ambitions. Listen to this and pray for God to do this in us and in others who may be in difficulty. This is the secret to victory in this world. "Oh that I may know Him" and keep on doing so until the Day. Great preaching...thank you Lord.
Gospel-centered Sanctification "It (sanctification) is the outcome of a thinking process and specifically the outcome of a thinking process about salvation. It is a right understanding of the gospel…"
What a refreshing gospel-centered sermon on Christian growth! I would encourage beleivers to listen to this sermon if you are struggling with your sanctification...it is a great reminder of who we are in Christ!
Great Sermon! Fantastic sermon...very motivating. As always, I am challenged by RC sermons to examine myself in light of the scripture. A sheep/goat sermon of sorts. Very good reminder on common grace vs. effectual grace of God. How bad do we want to hear from our Lord "well done"? The answer to this will be evident in our effort to be pleasing to Him. This is a great listen and I pray for God to work this in us/me.
Great Sermon! The Lord greatly used this sermon in me! I praise the Lord for using Pastor Richard by preaching such truth in love to his congregation! Thank you Lord for your truth faithfully be preached every time the doors are open!
Great Sermon! This was an excellent sermon: This was not only biblical teaching for the married, but for the non-married, or those thinking of marriage. Sensitive issues were dealt with in a kind, sound, biblical manner: That dealt with godly integrity, humanity and purity.
Great Sermon! We just lost an unbelieving family member. In our grief it is hard to remember the facts that pastor Caldwell presents from John 10. He knew! He knew enough.
This Sermon Encouraged Our Hearts My wife and I were home keeping our grandchild this morning and joined this sermon live. It blessed our hearts and encouraged us in the Lord and the truth of His Word. I was able to visit Founder's in Spring, Texas for an evening service in 1994 on the way to Dallas. We are very thankful for the ministry of Pastor Caldwell and the good folks there in Spring.
Thankfully, Rev. Caldwell's sermon series through Ephesians for 2001 is available in its entirety on SermonAudio.com. If this sermon blessed your heart as it has ours, we would encourage you to page back to March 2001 and listen to that teaching.
Start with "Chosen For Blessing" preached from Ephesians 1:4-6 on March 18, 2001. It now has over 2,000 downloads and is a sermon that the Lord will use in your life to encourage your heart as He has used it to bless us for years! Pastor Caldwell takes us back, and back, and back - all the way to before the foundation of the world to expound the glories of God's amazing grace. Left even this Presbyterian shouting God's grace!
There is a two part sermon on Ephesians 1:7 [The Riches of God's Grace - 4/1/2001] that is must listening, and the following two part sermon on Ephesians 1:7-9 [The Knowledge Grace Brings - 4/8/2001] is both powerful and enlightening.
Great Sermon! amen, great sermon on the ONE BAPTISM that matters most. Being baptized into CHRIST by faith and this is what water baptism pictures. The death burial and ressurrection unto new life. And then he even touches on the atonement and how all that adam represented were effected by the fall(every human) and likewise everyone represented by CHRIST are effected by HIS atonement(all who believe).
Great Sermon! Powerful exhortation to submit to the word of God. Very practical to apply and understand. Excellent teaching on tongues(listen to previous sermon too) if you need to understand this gift and its time and intention. I really grow in wisdom listening to Richards sermons. Thanks pastor
