Reformed Pastor wrote Jesus said we are to be "wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Christians have the 'harmless as doves' part down pat but are shamefully disobedient when it comes to being wise as serpents Amen Some common sence would be a step in the right direction. Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them
Remember, Pastor Ralph... ...the rebuke of one who is in error means nothing and does not reach the ears of the Lord!! And, as for myself....I am not the least bit interested in LISTENING to the preaching of any Arminian, neo-evangelical, or hyper-Calvinist gospels. Continue, please, preaching the FULL counsel of the Word, since in my location this is the only place I can hear it!!
True salvation This is a good sermon - it talks about true salvation revealed in the Bible through Jesus Christ. Very good doctrine and worth listening to. BTW: Pastor Ovadal towards the end thinks that the doctrine of losing your salvation is ultimately derived from Roman Catholic doctrines which work their way back into Christianity. See my blog post "WARNING: John Hagee - You Can LOSE Salvation" where I transcribe the Charismatic televangelist's doctrine. He does not actually use the words "mortal" and "venal" sin, but he does make that distinction. The Charismatic movement has close ties to the Roman Catholics. Hagee is all but teaching RC doctrine on his radio program.
A clear exposition of the gospel This is a clear, direct exposition of the gospel message - the sort of preaching you don't hear much anymore. This is the essence of what Biblical Christianity is all about.
A MUST-LISTEN! This is hands down THE best sermon on “evangelical” feminism that I have ever heard. The title of the sermon doesn’t seem to indicate this, but after the one hour twenty minute plus sermon is over there will be no question Pastor Ovadal demolished the “objections” of the demonic feminism position. This sermon is a must listen for those who hold to biblical Christianity. Thank you pastor Ovadal for this much needed sermon.
Great Sermon! Pastor Ovadal,
Thank you for another convicting sermon. Moreover, thank you for your determination to teach the truth. The Lord Jesus Christ has truly blessed your ministry. The Christian life is not mere fire insurance. Rather, the true Christian life is joy unspeakable for the eternal life granted by Jesus Christ.
Heres the thing. you are the false prophets. you are the workers in babylon. Of course there are ungodly things going on at Cornerstone. Look into the pews of your church: the eyes of Your people...and find the same thing. C-stone is about LOVE for everyone. Jesus himself loves the sinner. I will stand and defend cornerstone till the day i die. The one place i can be me...totally...where i can worship the Lord fully...is cornerstone. Nobody cares there. So I welcome you next year...but no matter what you do...C-stone will stand forever. No matter how me signs you hold up and how many invalid prayers you say...We Will NOT let C-stone fall. Jah Bless.
P.S. Jesus was a jew. Jews had long curly hair. Samson had 7 locks which had never been cut. he kept them as a vow to the lord to keep his stregnth. agaon male with long hair...oh and here the clencher...God didnt hate him!
Great Sermon! Thank you, Pastor Ovadal, for preaching your convictions on this. Your words were very thought-provoking and convicting, especially about what we are teaching our children in "observing" this season.
Great Sermon! This is a good, balanced message on Christmas. Pastor Ovadal brings up some excellent points as to what Christmas really is and what its focus really is, really asking Christians to search their own hearts. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, give it a listen and search your own traditions and heart.
Apprehend True Eternal Life! This sermon is an outstanding look at what eternal life should mean to a Christian, and how far short beliefs can sometimes come. Listen and learn the true depths of eternal life! And maybe someone has found this site, or this sermon, and is not a Christian. Give this a listen, and learn about the true Christian hope of eternal life that is very different from what you may have heard!
