Great lessons. This is a good message about the Word of God. Especially was helpful to me the idea that we must take hold firmly of the Word and that the Word identifies our enemies. This is so true!
Enjoyed this message. I appreciate this brother's insight into the tender mercy of God.
Christ has come to give light to those who are in darkness. Like the dawn of a new day dispelling the darkness, Jesus is the sunrise. He is the 'Dayspring from on high'.
A message from God. This is a message from the Lord. We have no right to make peace with sin, worldliness, heresy and compromise. We cannot have the blessing of God if we compromise. If we advocate compromise, we are saying that we learned so from our Lord!! What a blasphemy!
Great Sermon! TY for teaching The Biblical Sound DOCTRINE of SEPARATION.
Let's not coil up to the serpent with the touchy feely "unity" cry. So lovey dovey don't cha know.
Thank you....not too many who teach sound doctrine on here any more.
Great Sermon! That was indeed a great sermon. But the main question I have is this: what would have happened if God did not drive Adam and Eve out of the garden and they went on to eat from the tree of life?
I am discipleling a new believer and have no theological education myself but I am finding great joy digging ever deeper into Gods word and at the same time spending that much less time dwelling in sin.
God bless you and your congregation.
I believe that he was shut off from the Tree of Life in order to drive home to him that that which it would have afforded him in his innocence was now forever lost.
Man to this day still thinks that the Law is a Way to Life whereas it is, in truth, a way to death, because man is sinful and incapable of fulfilling the law. Had Adam eaten of the Tree of Life he would have but added to his condemnation.
Rom 3:20, Rom 4:15, Gal 2:16, Gal 3:11.
Here is Matthew Poole's comment: "Lest he put forth his hand: . . . . lest he take also of the tree of life, as he did take of the tree of knowledge, and thereby profane that sacrament of eternal life, and fondly persuade himself that he shall live for ever."

Great truths. This is true. I believe God is involved in the destroying of the wicked. This was a great encouragement for the congregation, I think, because people could see in this way God over the present situation.
Great truths. This is encouraging: the Word of God has the power to conquer people's minds. But the warning is: that only the Word of God, not the words of man, can do that. So let us preach the Word!
