Great Sermon! amazing insight Pastor Weaver. Surely Gods hand rest upon you. the whole media age promotes idolatry. everywhere you turn. 98% of all churches are 501c3 status, under the lordship of the state. I live in okla. city and i can't even find a church that is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. My church is sermon audios Pastor Mike Slatterly, Edward Watson, Dr. Scott Johnson and now Pastor John Weaver. Thank you for being faithful to the Lord. God bless
Great Sermon! i thank God for you pastor. this country has been hijacked by traitorous men and the pulpits are full of government hirelings, and the people are complacent and brainwashed by the cooperate owned media. God is blasphemed in the schools on television. America is now an illusion. i will pray for you as i do other pastors who are teaching the true word of God for his protection over you and your flock. May God dearly bless you.
Great Sermon! I downloaded this series and listened to it on my way to and from work. In fact, I've listened to it about 5 times and it has been an abundant blessing to my heart and life. I'm so glad I found your sermons.
Great Sermon! Praise God, He has blessed us with such straight forward, biblical teachings, and that His standard and a Godly witness still remains, even in these last days. This series on "Sanctification and Sexual Purity" is a must to listen to, especially in the midst of such blatant and rampant sexual immorality and lawlessness that is covering this dark and wicked world/generation. Many thanks again Pastor Weaver...I believe you are the only preacher who I've wanted to downloaded all your sermons!! You've certainly been a real blessing to both me and other brethren here in Australia.
Great Sermon! Another awesome sermon by Pastor Weaver. I don't think there is another preacher on earth that covers the deep issues of the Bible (particularly regarding the times we are living in) than this man of God. I truly love him in the Lord.
Great Sermon! T have never heard the seed of Abraham put more clearly and decisively as Pastor Weaver does. This mans knowledge of the Bible is truly astounding. Keep your Bibles handy, you'll need it. GREAT SERMON
Great Sermon! In the past Jews have always denied playing a decisive role in the crucifixion of Christ. Lately though, with comments from the likes of Sarah Silverman and others, including Rabis, they now proudly take credit for this. heinous act. Christians who support Israel, a country who denies Christ (An act of anti-christ), should think twice about who they call friends.
Trumpet blast against blind submission to the sta There is not one state in the world that I am aware of that upholds and obeys God's righteous law, therefore there is not one state that fits Paul's description of rulers of whom Paul exhorts us to be subject to!
Rom 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
The mark of the beast is allegiance to a wicked civil government which is a servant of satan and not a minister of God!
Therefore let all Christians around the world who love the Lord Jesus Christ rise up against the evildoers Psa 94:6 and proclaim submission to God's law and resistance to tyranny! We must not obey the statutes of heathen rulers which are country to the word of God! 2Kings 17:7-8
Great Sermon Series I've enjoyed this series, especially the 4th lecture where Pastor Weaver goes into the four types of law - the first three humanistic and the fourth, Biblical Law. This is Law School the way it ought to be!
Powerful message that sinners should hear I always thought that something was wrong with "God loves the sinners but hates the sin." Now I know that that is taken out of context of the Holy
Bible's message. That only applies to
God's accepted children. Otherwise God
hates the unrepentant sinners. If God
loves the sinners why did He destroy them all with the flood? Why did He
destroy them all in Sodom? God hates
sinners because they sin and God cannot tolerate sin before Him. Sinners have to realize that God is against sin and those who commit sin.
Great Sermon! According to the IRS,501 c-3 Christian churches, ministries, and organizations may not:... This is not so, as pastor Weaver has pointed out, the Christian Church should not be a 501-c-3 in the first place. A Christian Church CAN do all the things that this list said it can not do. A 501-c-3 charity can not. Thank you Pastor Weaver for all your insight to the true nature of Godly Government.
Great Sermon! Mr. Weaver touched on some very important themes here but I would have liked him to engage with the notion that the Civil War (or the War Of Northern Aggression) settled the state's rights issue.
Regrettably, the state's rights position has been forever intertwined with a hollow excuse for justifying slavery and later Jim Crow laws in the South. Also regrettable has been the history of some preachers who actually used the Bible to sanction the institution slavery--an institution that had more to do with economics and lees with any genuine support from the Bible.
This is regrettable because I believe with Mr. Weaver that state's rights is a marvelous mechanism by which to check the coercive power of the state. The Founders were indeed very wise in this matter. However, we need to extricate it from all the excess baggage it has accumulated over the years and I am not sure the Biblical route Mr. Weaver has chosen is the best way.
The Founders spoke about "nature and nature's laws" as a way of buttressing their arguments for liberty. In using this phrase the Founders were appealing to Natural Law which applies equally to all men and women regardless of race or religion.
In a pluralistic society like ours this may be more persuasive and less subject to the old baggage.
