“ Much Needed ” This sermon goes a long way in dispelling the notion that God is not concerned with the manner in which he is worshiped. Way to go C.H.!!!
“ Relevant Doctrine ” The doctrine taught, as hinted at by the sermon title, refutes the false and anti-Christian doctrine of the "Supreme Being" that was commonly taught by Unitarians and Deists which sprang up in the last 18th century (including Thomas Paine) and were the principle beliefs of America's founders (e.g. Washington, Franklin, Madison, Jefferson). Churches should mark this sharp distinguishment between true Christian doctrine and heresy and stop falsely "ascribing greatness" to America's deistic founders instead of "ascribing greatness to our God", and the doctrine of his Trinity.
“ Great Sermon! ” Even though this was preached quite a while ago, God's Word never changes. Great encouragement for Christians this New Year from Spurgeon!
“ Great Sermon! ” Awesome message from the prince of preachers on the gospel! Needs to be heard by all unbelievers,so they may trust in Christ and flee from the wrath to come!
“ Essential listening!!!! ” No Calvinist or Arminian should miss listening to this sermon.
The former will be confirmed in their faith. The latter will be convinced of their error.

“ Great Sermon! ” This is a real blessing and Spurgeon puts the crossing of death a less fearful thing when he informs us that we will be with Christ when we cross that dark river.
“ Jesus Christ as our High Priest ” On the Day of Atonement the High Priest worked alone to offer up sacrifices for the nation. C. H. Spurgeon in this remarkable and powerful rendition of his sermon highlights the prophetic parallels between the High Priest's role on the Day of Atonement and Jesus Christ's role as our High Priest.
“ Is God with you or not ? ” It is often the case for many of us that, we are not too sure if God wants us to do something or not. Well here Spurgeon, in beautiful language tells us how to know. If the wind is in the mulberry tree then you shall know. This is a simple and beautiful sermon. It is read beautifully
“ Spurgeon is great ! ” Here Spurgoen speaks abut the importace of the work of the Holy Spirit in Christ's ministry. As Christiana has said we so often forget that if we are to be sucessful we need the Holy Spirit or our labour is in vain
“ Great Sermon! ” We forget about the work of the Holy Spirit in ministry, or in evangelizing, or in prayer.
This message is a needed reminder that apart from the Holy Spirit our labor is in vain.
May others be blessed in hearing Spurgeon speak on the Holy Spirit glorifying Christ.
“ Change vs Stability ” A certain US candidate has been promoting Change as a central theme of his campaign. Needed reforms and new directions can be good but too much change leads to instability.
May all of our leaders be firm and consistent in following well-grounded principles. May Christian profession be matched with a display of godly, Christian practice.
