Also,Reformed faith...you mean the "johnny come lately's". The doctrine of the Funda., Baptist churches have been around before, during and after the "reformation." Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Who was the RCC killing anyways? Someone who cares wrote(basically)..."you can't feed the whole world". Jesus can! That's the big difference but a good point that I would like to clarify. The Calvinist sees the weak and fallible man and says it can't be done. A true believing Christian sees a big God that can do the impossible. Even dying on a cross for ALL. Even though the "ALL" would not call on him-his offer is still there! (What does "all" mean? Even in context of the verse it still means ALL!) or Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Only a "few" will be saved the bible says. Are you one of the few? Are you on the narrow or broad way? Any you wrote that the translations or KJV isn't inspired? HUH? really... All scripture is given by inspiration of God...2 Tim 3:16 I do believe the Calvinist doesn't believe, trust or understand God at all. Or at least the God of the KJV bible. |

To the Calvies:I know you didn't listen to Knox's preaching. It would do you a "world" of good! I've heard and read White...he's intelligent but not wise. He doesn't seem to be able to connect his intelligence to a good, Godly, or practical application of God's word. For example, Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the word of God. Romans 10:14 How then shall they CALL on him in whom they have not BELIEVED? and how shall they BELIEVE in him of whom they have not HEARD? and how shall they HEAR without a preacher? For by GRACE are ye saved through faith...Eph 2:8 (Chirst considers this choosing/calling/believing-GRACE) Get the logic: HEAR the preaching-CALL on him/BELIEVE the gospel-THEN salvation. So how did you get saved? Did you HEAR the gospel? Did you CALL upon the Lord? Did you CHOOSE? Or did you get up one day and decide that you are one of the elect? Give me your salvation testimony and bible references to back it up. I have yet to hear just 1!! testimony from a true Calvinist...That speaks volumes(no pun intended)! I've debated them on SA for months-yet not one testimony-somethings wrong with that. If you would like I can give you my salvation testimony. There was a day that I realized I needed Christ. |

You should buy the book Debating Calvinism by Dave Hunt and James White. At least expose yourself to the truth and make your honest decision. Dave Hunt would hold to your view and James White the reformed faith of the Fathers. |

Hmmm. I would say you still are in heresy. I think your understanding of World etc. needs some thought. I am going out to cure world hunger. I guess every individual in the world is starving huh!!!!! All the city came out to celebrate the world series team. I guess every individual in the city was there. Come on, use your own mind.I would say you have not really studied your KJV Bible or any other translation. Context is everything. Remember that translations are not inspired. Does Jesus pray for the whole world or only those the Father gave Him? John 17 says no. If He does not pray for everyone then we have a problem with Him dying for every individual huh. You should really pray that God would open your eyes and ears. Be a good berean and make sure you are not following baal preachers. |

Well that was a pretty stupid answer below. We should all burn the OT because we don't like the God in it. I can guarantee the calvinist nows his bible better than this. |

Typical Armenian fundamental Baptist wrote: "You really should find out what real Baptist like Spurgeon and Pink and Gill preached instead of blindly following these Rick Warren want-a-be preachers."Tell me something what did Pink, Calvin, Augustine, and Jerome write about babies suffering in flames hell as an example of God's eternal decree and sovereign grace? They believed that this is God's way of showing off his power and majesty. Well, the God of those guys isn't the God of the bible. I serve a loving God who DIED for babies as well as adults. This is just one of many, many reasons I reject the heresies of Calvin and Calvinism. Have you read or listened to any Cloud, Knox and Waite sermons? I've read Calvinists like Calvin, Pink, Spurgeon, Gill et al. I've listened to Calvinsit preachers on Sermon Audio-Cairns, Price, Spurgeon(I like Spurgeon, and some Pink). Have you even read you bible? How about the N.T.? I believe that reading the N.T. would cause you to doubt Calvin's teachings. Read: John 3:16 Luke 13:3,5 Romans 10:9,10 Just for starters. |

A Calvinist responded to the Hyper-Calvinist blog and I always appreciate input nnd feedback. He or she stated I had no idea about the doctrines of Grace, blah, blah, blah. Let me begin by saying that I used to be a Pentecostal('75-'96). I read my bible and learned my final authority was the bible not a man. This is why, as a Pentecostal, I never understood Calvinists right off the bat. Then, due to the heresy of Pentecostalism, I converted to becoming a Fundamental Baptist. After really studying my (KJV)bible I still couldn't grasp why the Calvinist folks couldn't grasp the terms: "all, whosoever, the whole world, any, every man", et al. Nor how they could't see that God told the nation of Israel, "Joshua 24:15, ...choose you this day whom ye will serve... and other such like verses. It finally occurred to me that Calvinists didn't get the doctrines of Calvinism from the bible but from books on Calvinism. That's plain. That is the only way you could twist simple and plain teachings of free will. I do not think that Calvinists are stupid but sincere; albeit sincerely mislead and wrong. Please go to Knox's preaching on Hyper-Calvinism. He does a masterful job explaining Calvinism and a little history on Mr. Calvin. Knox brings a ton of scripture so bring you pen, pad and bible. |

You really have no clue what the doctrines of Grace are do you? You like to think your sinners prayer saved you when all along those that belong to Christ were placed in Him before the foundation of the World. You have a sad savior that stands outside the door knocking and pleading for you to come to Him. Such a pitiful religion. I worship a powerful Jesus who saves totally and completely those that the Father gave Him. What made you better than those who don't believe. Where you more spiritual, more intelligent, better? Salvation is of the LORD. You had nothing to do with it. |

I really don't know why it seemed to me that you hated so much the memory of Christ's incarnation to save mankind. maybe it has got to do with a very sad past on Christmas Day or what... I love to commemorate Christmas, because without it, then we are all doomed to hell, having no Savior. Your very rigid, legalistic beliefs on many things, be it wearing dresses, or donning a long-hair for women, and now this, are really irritating. You have your convictions, as others like me have ours. Don't impose on other people your rigid beliefs as if we are doomed to hell if we don't follow yours! Merry Christmas, Gabriela! Have a life! |
