“ Your sermons are great! Romans 8 series ” Just a comment on your series of Romans 8:28-39. You mention in #7 about the 1st Adam and the 2nd Adam. This is adding to the Word of God as there is NO 2nd but a LAST Adam. When Jesus went to the grave He went as the LAST Adam. The Word is specific on this in 1 Cor 15:45. There is no 2nd because Jesus took care of that as the LAST Adam. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be critical but that always puts a ding in my spirit. Even tho many seem to use that expression, it is incorrect.
“ just a comment on taking up arms ” The state that Paul exhorted to be subject to was indeed evil and oppressive. The revolution that one of the listeners want is actually what the elite wants. They are provoking people to rebellion just as they have done before during history. We as christians shall expose evil and warn others, but we are not called to take up arms against the evildoers.I don't think that it should be forbidden to have a gun in the house, because that would only give the criminals the guts to rob just any house they want. Just by knowing that there COULD be a weapon in the house prevents some criminals from breaking in.
But christians are not supposed to kill!!!!

I live in okla. city and i can't even find a church that is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. “ Great Sermon! ” In the past Jews have always denied playing a decisive role in the crucifixion of Christ. Lately though, with comments from the likes of Sarah Silverman and others, including Rabis, they now proudly take credit for this. heinous act. Christians who support Israel, a country who denies Christ (An act of anti-christ), should think twice about who they call friends.
“ Trumpet blast against blind submission to the sta ” There is not one state in the world that I am aware of that upholds and obeys God's righteous law, therefore there is not one state that fits Paul's description of rulers of whom Paul exhorts us to be subject to!
Rom 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
The mark of the beast is allegiance to a wicked civil government which is a servant of satan and not a minister of God!
Therefore let all Christians around the world who love the Lord Jesus Christ rise up against the evildoers Psa 94:6 and proclaim submission to God's law and resistance to tyranny! We must not obey the statutes of heathen rulers which are country to the word of God! 2Kings 17:7-8
“ Great Sermon Series ” I've enjoyed this series, especially the 4th lecture where Pastor Weaver goes into the four types of law - the first three humanistic and the fourth, Biblical Law. This is Law School the way it ought to be!
“ Brilliant Scriptural Insight! ” Pastor Weaver, you have pulled back the veil here to expose the TRUTH of Scripture regarding why women are not to be teachers or preachers, in an enlightening manner.
