Great Sermon! At 17;52 pastor Shelton says "Spare the rod, spoil the child, despite popular opinion, the famous saying, "Spare the rod, spoil the child," cannot be found anywhere in the Bible. The saying, however, should not be considered invalid as there are verses that promote a similar concept.
He who withholds his rod hates his son,
But he who loves him disciplines him diligently.
Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child;
The rod of discipline will remove it far from him.
Do not hold back discipline from the child,
Although you strike him with the rod, he will not die.
You shall strike him with the rod
And rescue his soul from Sheol.
The rod and reproof give wisdom,
But a child who gets his own way brings shame to his mother.

Great message though. He seemes like he was a man of God with an obvious heart for children.
THIS IS A NEEDED MESSAGE! In many ways I think this is the best, most needed and experimental, of all the sermons I have heard! And in my time I have heard THOUSANDS of Calvinistic sermons. Please listen to this message with an open heart, and may God speak to you about your own soul's condition. SALVATION is far more than believing the Bible or believing the "doctrines of grace." It is to be convicted of the Spirit and brought down to the end of your self-righteous way, brought to "know Christ" by the mighty revelation of the Spirit and power of God.
Great Sermon! STOP AND LISTEN TO A VERY MOVING SERMON. WE NEVER CEASE LEARNING AND THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING FOR US TO GLEAN FROM PREACHERS WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK THE TRUTH. OH, THE MERCY OF GOD. PRAISE HIS NAME
Great Sermon! IT IS NOW OR NEVER. IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS MOVING IN YOU, PLEASE TAKE 30 MINUTES (WHICH IS NOTHING IN THE GREAT SCHEME OF LIFE) AND LISTEN. FIND OUT IF CHRIST DIED FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good. 6/10 rating. Give it a listen, though I'm not sure of the correctness of all parts of this message. He says it is wrong to paint pictures of Jesus, or even of things in the sea, but I see nothing wrong with making tributes to the Savior, personally, as long as it is not worshipped (do not worship any image!). I hope they will print this review, but if not, I will write yet a lighter one later if the Lord allows.
