Great Sermon! My husband and I returned home yesterday from the THSC Conference changed people. Thank you for your service to Jesus Christ. I am going to continue listening to your Revelation sermons. This book is too often neglected!
Great Sermon! Great sermon, Im a little confused on the reference to the sermon about the church at Ephesus however, as I dint hear that one or see it in the list.
I needed that Thank you again, Voddie. It truly is all about Who *He* is and understanding the reality of why we worship and what worship is from a Scriptural definition. As Job 36:5 says, "Behold, God is mighty." He is, and as you said, my brother, we do not do God a favor by showing up. May our worship truly be acceptable in His sight, for it is worthless if it is not.
Great Sermon! Clearest explanation of how and how not to judge according to the Word of God that I have ever heard. I now feel that I have the correct knowledge of God's will in this area and I will act accordingly! Thank you Dr. Baucham for serving the Lord so excellently.
Great Sermon! What a great sermon this was! I'm unmarried, but I wanted to listen to it anyway. The words he spoke were very convicting and very true. I am so happy one of my friends told me about this message and that I took the time to hear it.
One thing missing... A thought about this message: while listening to Dr. Baucham explain about avoiding the spirit of this age and avoiding the spiritualism of doing things such as just diving randomly into the Bible in order to find messages, it would have been interesting had Dr. Baucham touched on the life of Augustine, primarily his conversion, which as as a result of that same type of spiritual revelation via "take up and reading"....
Great Sermon! Lately when I hear the sermons and bible studies from my home church I feel unsaved because I don't "hear" from God. When I hear this message, I feel like I am His but broken, shattered.. amd I am glad
Great Sermon! Even Im Korean, unmarried,I felt a need to listen this. Ididnt know why,but after listened and listened until I inscribed whole of it. Its not only about marriage but about people around us. Want to fly to America to say thank you:)so so much.
Focused I have listened to the three message in this series over and over and will continue to do so as our country revolts more and more against our Godly heritage. So often Americans live in a mental bubble, much like the Jews of the New Testament, that our past will carry us unscathed through the future just because at some point there were people who loved and obeyed God. Not so. Our comfort and ease has become paramount, it seems, and Voddie flat out dispells that line of thinking from the Bible itself, not through grand storytelling. I so much appreciate his focus on the Word of God and not on himself. What a difference it makes in the Gospel truly going forth. I am grateful.
Humbling indeed Again, Christian who truly want to obey our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ need to hear this. Our society has grossly impacted our Christianity, and yet when we hear the truth set for with grace and power, as we hear it here, we cannot help but respond as the Holy Spirit works and weeds out the pride, pride, pride in our hearts. Thank you!
Responsibility Dr. Baucham nails American Christians to the wall with this as we face our own pride and rebellion. We have no right to look at the sin in our society when we fail to confess and *forsake* the sin in our own lives. Thank you, Voddie! Do not stop preaching the truth and more importantly living the truth, even when it costs.
