INCISIVE! Must Hear! Excellent review of Laodicean lukewarm American prayerlessness.( A diagnosis of the cause of modern spiritual weakness): a clear call to
walk worthy of the gifts given us. Set
your heart on the LORD in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.
What a contrast between this MEATY sermon vs Osteen's pablum.
I am giving thanks to God for this sermon! I saw the comment that this was a must hear sermon and since I have a friend who felt hurt and betrayed over Joel Osteen's appearance on Larry King live I listened.
I am giving thanks to God for this sermon! I believe this is a case of God taking what Satan has meant for evil and using it for good.
Encouraging us to pray with real faith and to not have a faith anything like that of Joel Osteen.
A Must Hear For The Serious Christian! WOW, this is a message you almost never hear anymore. These so called mega churches now days are a joke. But you know what.....Jesus said it was going to be like this before He comes back. If WE see whats going on and think its sick and pathetic, can you imagine what our perfect holy Lord thinks? Pastor Modene really lays it on the line. Now days people don't want the truth, they want entertainment. Prayer is the most powerful tool a real christian has and we put it last. Popular dosen't mean it's right. And that's all these so called mega churches are into. Jesus dosen't need to seperate the sheep from the goats, because we are doing a great job of it on our own!! The angels jobs are going to be a piece of cake! False churches, false doctrine, false teachers, wolves in sheeps clothing, doctrines of demons. We have it all and in mega portions. Even false Bibles are big now. Laodiceans everywhere. It seems like the resedue of the remnant are the only ones who see this garbage going on. Preach it brother Modene!!! And God bless you for the truth in a dying and sick world thats headed for hell in a major way.
Eye Opener I knew little about Osteen, other than he had a bestselling book and came almost out of nowhere, so this was an eye-opening look at his beliefs. I recommend this sermon as a way to get some background info on Osteen.
