Great Sermon! Let not our hearts be troubled , we believe in God. What a message from God through the Holy Spirit, William delivered.
We, the members of Grace Fellowship Church, are so very grateful to the Lord for giving us a tremendous pastor & teacher in William Rogers, along with the leadership of our church, none of whom will stray from the full counsel of the word of God.
Whether it is at a ladies luncheon, a Thursday night Bible study, a men or women's study, a youth lesson, Sunday Equippimg Hour, the Pot Grace Lunch, or the main service, this church follows the inerrant and inspired word of God, only. In an age of emerging churches and false teaching, we at GFC have been especially blessed with leaders who follow the divine word.
But, let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
1 Corinthians 10:12
Thank you God for our Pastor, William who constantly reminds us of Your grace and mercy, not our works.
Great Sermon! For a church the size of Grace Fellowship Church, the Lord has truly blessed us more than churches 4 or 5 times our size. The number of people who attended is almost twice the size of our entire church. (79 ladies were there, but at least 10 people were unable to be present because of illness) The inspired message was given by Carol's sister Cathy, the food was wonderful, the fellowship was exciting and enthusiastic, and the Lord led us to His divine word. Cathy spoke about her personal salvation and how she continuosly studies and applies scripture to her life in all situations. What a blessing she was to the body of Christ at this event.
I can't wait until next year, and I was only a server!!! I didn't even get to eat the food.
TRAVEL MERCIES IT WAS GREAT HAVING GLEN, CATHY, AND CECILE, VISITING THIS WEEKEND, FROM MOBILE, AL. THEY WERE A BLESSING TO OUR CHURCH BODY. WE PRAY FOR A SAVE RETURN TO THERE HOME CHURCH, CHRIST FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH.
What a blessing! Thank you, Cathy, for being faithful to deliver the message of true hope from the Word of God. We were encouraged & challenged by the message you brought at the 2011 Women's Spring Event! God is eternally trustworthy-Lord, cause me to trust & obey You!
Ladies Spring lunch LORD Thank you for the fellowship I have with other Christian women, that you have placed in my life, to guide me in your Truth, and LORD thank you for loving me and growing me. Cathy,
thank you for your testimony, and sharing your time and GOD'S truth in
Great Sermon! The teaching by Pastor William Pogers, we are privileged to hear every time we as a church get togethe (and there are several times each week) is a blessing only God could give us.
We are a very small church, only three years old, and I bet few churches in the entire world, have been as blessed as we are to have such strong biblical teaching.
The Thursday night sessions have been about the Revelation of Jesus Christ, as He described the Last Days to His apostles, during His last days as a human being. John was somehow given a glimpse of heaven and the future events that we in this time, in the last days, are blessed to be able to somewhat understand. And then someone like our pastor, Will, comes to us and essentially "opens the scriptures" to us and shows us what few have ever seen. When I heard this message, I was in tears as I studied and listened to what God has in store for us, and what He has done for us and Who He is.
Thank God for the teaching and the excellent vehicle of Sermon Audio which brings us this teaching over and over.
Praise God for Pastor William.
Blessed be our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We are looking forward to this exciting event for women! What a joy to be able to offer such a feminine, fun-filled event for women while being sure that the strong truth of the Word of God will be proclaimed. We sincerely hope you will join us & pray about who you can invite for this afternoon of encouragement in God's Word and with God's people.
Don't Miss this Message! The contrast of Mary's pure motive for her extravagant display of worship to Christ vs. Judas' wicked motive for criticizing her! Wow! "Man looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart!" 1 Sam. 16:7
Thank You Thank you pastor Will for leading, feeding, and protecting us. I love the Worship in the way we do the Lord's Table and that it is the focus of the service and not something added on at the end of the service, it's all about Christ and what He has done. Bless His Holy Name!
WOW What a great message, thank you Pastor Will. This passage is not about Lazarus, it is about Jesus as God. When we focus on man we have taken our eyes off of God and what He is doing. This passage shows us that God is Sovereign in our salavation too. We were dead men until God awakened us in our sins and we responded with I believe but that was the only response we could have because God gave us the faith to believe it. GOD CHOSE US (before the foundations of the world), WE DID NOT CHOOSE HIM. GOD is always PREVIOUS! Praise God, what a humbling truth!
Great Sermon! I am amazed at how much I am amazed everytime Pastor William opens the scripture and teaches us what God is saying. He shows us that God has hidden all this from us until we were ready to receive it, then He has it clearly revealed thru the wonderful exposition. It is all about His timing.
My eyes constantly tear-up when I realize the beauty of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and what He plainly told us; and, yet, He hid it from our hearts and minds until the day we were supposed to understand clearly the truth of His scripture.
Jesus spoke so plainly in the Bible that it is almost impossible to believe that no one who listened His words actually heard and understood exactly what He was saying when He said it.
Wow!!! The strong, clear-speaking person, who was the man, Jesus Christ walked among us, and taught us that He Himself was the eternal Father, Creator of the universe who appeared to us in the physical presence of Jesus Christ.
The teaching was very clear, but our hearts and minds are as dull as a rusty butter knife. But Jesus, Himself, sharpens our minds through His Holy Spirit thru the word of God.
Our pastor, William Rogers, has obviously been chosen for this purpose-to teach truth to a hungry and thirsty church.
Thank you Lord, for giving us William.
Great Sermon! WHEN WILL THE CRYING STOP? I asked the pastor Sunday after this message and He and I agreed that ti really doesn't for those who love the Lord Jesus and what He did for those He loves. Why were we chosen? Why did He commit Himself to the flesh to save wretched ones like us who didn't then, nor now, deserve saving? I guess we will never know for sure, but as Pastor William says, "Jesus speaks clearly" to those He has chosen, and who are part of His flock. If we hear Him then we are saved from His wrath, forever. That one thought always brings tears to my eyes; sometimes in a trickle, and sometimes in a flood.
He was no Mister Nice Guy, coming to save everyone. No, as we learn, He spoke plainly to everyone, but only a few actually hear Him and understand who we are, and what He did forus, not what we did for Him.
Wow What a message! What a savior.
Thank you Jesus for giving us a new life as part of your flock, adopted into Your heavenly family. Thank you William for conveying that wonderful, life saving message to us, who are blessed to receive it.
In Jesus precious Name, Amen
This sermon is a 'must hear'! Jesus is God-He proclaims it Himself in this passage. It enraged the "religious leaders" of Christ's day and it will enrage anyone today who does not bow to His sovereign lordship over all! He was and is and is to come!
Solid Teacher! Glad to see God is using William on Sermon Audio. Back in the mid 70s as a teenager and new convert, I used to attend home Bible Studies at Williams house. He was an earnest student of scripture then and has still held the same emphasis of Expositional teaching in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Those were great days of real revival. Imagine a house full of teenagers on Fri. and Sat. nights studying the Bible and learning how to pray. During the week, I think we knocked on every apartment door in town, sharing Christ with the lost.
May God use William to bring the same emphasis to his new church and to a new group of young people.
