Great Sermon! Excellent, informative & eye opening sermon today. I hope JD was encouraged by the masses that ran for their paper copies! I got mine & know I need it for a constant reminder & to help get it drilled into my conscience!
Life changing! Self-control is a challenge for all of us. Personal inventory is needed on a daily basis. This sermon will be listened to again & again as well as the PDF chart referred to often for my necessary spiritual growth. To God be the glory!
The power of the gospel! By God's gracious providence, there were quite a few Roman Catholic visitors today. The true gospel of Jesus Christ was proclaimed in power, and we witnessed conviction, and saw what we believe to be true conversion. Glory to God!
Great Sermon! I kept thinking during the sermon today that the tongue is like a 2 yr. old, caught in the 'terrible twos'! Thankfully 2 yr. olds grow up & out of that & we can too! TY J.D. & thank you God!
There's hope for taming the tongue! Taming the tongue.... ugh! Not an area most of us like to ponder for very long since we fail miserably time and time again. I must train my tongue to speak good things in a right manner by hiding the Word in my heart and as I am faithful to do this not only can my tongue be tamed by Christ but also my life can be controlled for His glory as I grow in this area. Thank you Lord for this sermon and the revelation it brings to your people.
Great Sermon! A convicting message for all. We are all called to teach but only some are called to lead. We should not be so quick and flippant to want a leadership role in the church or be flippant as a leader in the church. God takes this very seriously and so should we. Thank you Pastor for speaking directly to me with this very timely message!
