Jenna kindly asked me "Shadow, I can help you with that"
Jenna thank you for your kind offer. I may take you up on your offer yet, but not at this time. I believe I understand the problem I was encountering and will test out my theory before I come to the conclusion that I need outside help. If the shadow continues to have problems I will take you up on your kind offer.
Great Sermon! Your listeners may be interested in checking out the "Now with Bill Moyers documentary called : Kids and Chemicals". Also, check out the website scorecard .org to see how your community "rates" related to toxic releases\ exposures. Bless you Trevor and your ministries.
Great Sermon! We know Hitler joined an occult society in the 1920s bec it is well documented. But in my opinion he also sold his soul to the devil n he was possesed directly by Satan himself. Look at the charismatic way he gave his speeches...yet in private settings he just relaxed in eerie silence. He seems to also sense when assasination attempts were going to take place and walked quickly away when the assasin was abt to do his work. Even the famous failed assasination cld be evil spirits protecting him. An officer pushed the briefcase bomb further under the conference table, probably prompted by evil spirits. In the end the only way Hitler could expire was by his own hand.
erroneous handling of the Word Thank you ,Krisztina, for the message. Prayers for the family and for discernment are truly in order.John MacArthur did an excellent sermon called "miracles, healing & tongues" on his website. Context is key in Scripture; hopefully, those who think that the office of an apostle and signs and wonders are still for today will change their minds. It would be interesting to hear the take on this incident from the congregation that witnessed it. Hopefully, they wouldn't attribute it to a lack of faith. We ought not to play with poison, handle snakes or mishandle God's Word.
QUOTE][AUTHOR]Jenna[/AUTHOR]Shadow, you sound like a broken record. in every post, same quote [/QUOTE]What gave it away Jenna?
Jenna, that is a principle I learned from the Bible. Repeating has a way of making important points sink into the hearers ears. God uses that principle often in the Bible. Of course I don't do it as eloquently as He does, but I do what I can with the gifts He gave me.
"a man once called on me to consult me about marrying a woman who he said was a beautiful Christian, that they had deep sympathy for the work of God, and that the Spirit of God was leading them to marry one another. "But," I said to the man, "you already have one wife." "Yes," he replied, "but you know we have not gotten along very well together." "Yes," I said, "I know that, and, furthermore, I have had a conversation with her and believe it is your fault more than hers. But, however that may be, if you should put her away and marry this other woman, Jesus Christ says that you would be an adulterer." ... I replied to this man, "You are a liar and a blasphemer. How dare you attribute to the Spirit of God action that is directly contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ?"
Great Sermon! Programmers like myself are terrified to make serious changes to payroll programs, fearing unintended consequences...the Earth's climate is far, far, more complicated, so who knows what is going to happen?
I go to things that are less debatable. If you chart since 1973, every time the price of oil spikes, a recession follows (1973, 1979, 1990, 2008, may have missed a couple of them.) Our economy depends on cheap energy. Saving energy usually pollutes less.
"Lions, tigers, and bears!" - they may be seen only in zoos in a few decades if habitat destruction continues. Will human developments encroaching on wilderness go too far with consequences?
Thank you Rachel for your comments. I am not asking for money. I have had a number of people asking me to make the ability to donate online available. They would prefer to give that way instead of sending a check. I have stated on a number of programs how uncomfortable it makes me when people give. My comment in the blog post was simply to say, a small gift is just as appreciated as a large one. It cost over a $100 a month to be on SermonAudio. When people give, it helps. That is just a fact. People chose to give on their own, I have not asked for money. But when people give, I want them to know the $1.00 gift is appreciated as much as the $1,300 gift. I apologize if I did not make it clear. The reality is, it takes money to do certain things. I would love to give away copies of the book, Christian in Complete Armour before I start the live webcast. However, I am limited in what I can do. I am not begging for anything. If people want to give, they can. Can you name one program where I asked or begged for money? People have sent money and they asked for an easier way. I have given them that option. If they want to give, I hope they know a dollar is as appreciated as a thousand dollars. Not sure what else I can say
