Great Sermon! Another excellent sermon! In the newer sermons your prayers at the end of the message are online, while in this and older sermons they aren't. I wish that the prayers at the end of the sermons could have been included online in these older sermons. Blessings in Christ!
Great Sermon! I was introduced to the saving gospel when I was 13 thru Voice of Christian youth camp. However, I have to agree that it was just a prayer and no real form of repentance. I was also taught that we become born again thru our acceptance of what Christ has done on the cross and have realized that salvation doesn't depend on anything that I have done. I have questioned this over the years as my faith didn't bear fruit til many years later. I have only heard about easy believism the past couple of years thru the internet. Thank you for making this point very clear!
Great Sermon! Many thanks for bringing in the books of the old testament when preaching! The old testament is very relevant and is backed up with Christ's teachings. Also my cousin informed me when I was visiting her in Malta, that when the latest vision of Mary appeared to the people in Europe she stated that Peace will be coming soon upon the earth. This came to mind when you were talking from Ezekiel 13:10 where it says that false prophets will lead my people astray, saying, "Peace," when there is no peace! There won't be true peace I told her until Christ returns and there is to be great tribulation first! How can anyone believe such utter nonsense! I can't wait til the return of Christ!
Another Excellent Sermon! Where do you get your illustrations? So crystal clear! In the beginning of your sermon you talk about when a christian states that he has liberty in Christ and that he has no problem with purchasing beer, but then someone might see him with the beer in the grocery store and this reminds me of the scripture verse in 1st Corinthians 8:9 where it states "Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak." We are to keep in mind how our actions might affect our Christian brothers and sisters.
I also can't understand when Christians don't spend time in the word. I feel that without spending anytime in the word daily, that I don't have anything to stand on. The word of God is living water that I need daily and your sermons make the word of God come alive! Blessings in Christ!
Great Sermon! How can anyone be certain of their salvation? I contemplated this while I was listening to your excellent sermon! It sounds like we must continually be examining ourselves, watching carefully our lives and how we are living for the Lord. Are we being obedient and following the words of Christ? It is horrifying to think that someone who claimed to know the Lord will still end up in the eternal fire away from God.
Great Sermon! Another excellent sermon! You stated in your sermon that probably some of your church attenders are not genuinely saved. I don't know how anyone can listen to your sermons, week after week and not be convicted! Your sermons are excellent and very convicting. I am speechless when I hear you proclaiming the word of God! Your church is blessed because of you!
Great Sermon! Your sermon is excellent! I agree with you about people being lazy and always looking for handouts. I was born with a heart defect and have had 4 open heart surgeries. I still had 6 children and kept a clean home. I have always worked (mostly part time) and despise those who are healthy and sit around looking for handouts. There is always work if someone is looking for work. I started out in Israel cleaning houses and now am working as a caregiver, with more work than I can possibly keep up with. I tithe, attend church regularly and work as if I am working unto the Lord. God honors those who will honor Him! Blessings Pastor David! Keep up the excellent work!
Great Sermon! Thanks Pastor . This series on Acts has provided more than enough scriptural evidence that all true believers must evangelize and leaves the listener with two options concerning themselves , either they are a disobedient hearer not a"doer " of the word and therefore their claims on christianity are false , or a learning follower of Christ , otherwise known as a disciple . Keep preaching !
Another Excellent Sermon! This was another excellent sermon! I especially enjoy when you bring old testament scriptures and stories and show them as examples of what you are preaching about. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Judaism is the same today as it has always been and the prayers are repetitive and meaningless to those who say them without thinking. The basic Jew is told what to believe by their rabbi and they don't read scripture for themselves. Many thanks for your sermons!
Excellent Sermon! Never heard a sermon explaining this topic in this way. The sermon was clear and well communicated! It really cleared up a lot of questions I had, as I am divorced and remarried. Many thanks for these sermons! I really appreciate your devotion to the word of God.
Great Sermon! Never heard the beatitudes explained in this way. This sermon makes perfect sense! Keep up the great work! Never lose your love for the preaching of the word of God. Blessings in Christ!
Great Sermon! When I listen to this sermon, I am reminded of the Jewish people that surround me. The word of God says, "Their lips are ever praising me, but their hearts are far from me." In Judaism, the people make a point to move their lips, so that man can see them and know that they are praying, yet this is only lip service. Many thanks for keeping the sermons online. I am thoroughly enjoying each and every sermon! Blessings in Christ!
Great Sermon! Unfortunately, when I asked my husband, an orthodox Jew, about the prophecy in Isaiah, where it predicts that the Messiah would be born of a virgin, he claims that in Hebrew it doesn't state that the woman would be a virgin, but that the Hebrew word used here talks about a young woman. I don't know Hebrew as well as he does, so I don't know if indeed this is true, or if this is what is told to him by the rabbis. Blessings in Christ for the sermons that are online!
Great Sermon! Another excellent sermon! Today in the Haredi sect of Judaism, the young people still only meet their future spouse only a few months before marriage and they aren't allowed to be intimate til after marriage. I even heard of one instance where the bride didn't meet her husband til the day of marriage. Their union is based on the basic foundation of furthering Judaism and not on themselves and divorce is very low in their sect.
Great Sermon! It was important to trace the geneology back thru the woman, not the man. The reason being is that Abraham had two wives and the promised one came thru Sarah, so as a Jew, it is your mother's ancestry that matters, not the mans. Whether or not you are Jewish comes from your mother, your lineage of what tribe you are from comes from your father. This sermon was excellent though! I have never heard a sermon preached on this particular passage of scripture. I did hear that a Jewish woman once became convicted and saved, thru the reading of this very passage in Matthew, because of the lineage. Thanks!
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon! Never heard a sermon preached on how our bodies will become, when we become glorified as Christ is glorified! Thanks for posting all of your sermons!
Another Excellent Sermon! I am witnessing to a catholic priest who lives in the Vatican, Rome via facebook. We met while I was in Malta and he is an acquaintance of my family, since my uncles were priests. His name is Llewyn Muscat. Please pray that his eyes are opened to the truth about God's word and the fallacies in the Catholic church. He is studying to become a priest. Again thanks for the excellent sermon! I pray that you continue to stay on target and don't vear away from God's truth as so many others have done. Blessings in Christ!
Powerful Sermon! In Malta, many Catholics believe in walking on rocks along a long path, in order to help remove their sins! They believe that they are Christians and disagree that there is any difference between their beliefs and ours!
What about Pastor Hagee? He has a large church. Is his teaching sound? I will be visiting in San Antonio in 10 days time and his church is only one block away from where I'll be staying.
The Lord is revealing to me that perhaps I should also change the church where I attend. I am praying that I would be able to attend a sound bible preaching/believing/evangelizing church.
Blessings in Christ on this Lord's Day!
Great Sermon! I sat next to a man on a plane and his main idea was that there was no god because of the holocaust. However, I pointed out that the state of Israel was a fullfillment of prophesy and God wasn't finished with the Jewish people. Many have turned their back on God because of the bad that has occurred in their lives. Thanks for this sermon!
