Sermon:
Why Did God Decree the Fall?

“ Great Sermon! ”
I really liked this message. I have been having an on-going discussion with an old friend via email on the doctrines of the reformed faith. He is not of the reformed faith, but I think he is close. One of his questions had to do with why God allowed sin in the world to begin with. I referred him to this sermon. I am looking forward to his response. One thing that stood out to me in this message is the fact that if we are trying to understand everything about God and why He does what He does, then we are committing the same sin as Eve...trying to be like God. I never thought of it that way before.

“ Why I Support Private Property ”
The reason that Christians should support private property rights has nothing at all to do with a man-made political philosophy, such as Conservatism, but rather because private property rights are inherently God-given. This excellent sermon on the Eighth Commandment reveals the reason why I no longer consider myself a mere Conservative when it comes to political issues. Conservatism, or any other political philosophy, is morally just only when it fully coincides with God's Law.

“ Here I Stand! ”
Christians must never forget the significance of how the Lord used Martin Luther to spark the Reformation and to rediscover the Truth of Holy Scripture. Excellent sermon, and I wholeheartedly recommend listeners to download this.

“ Great Sermon! ”
If you know of anyone who thinks the Sabbath is not for today I would highly recommend these sermons, both part 1 and 2. Pastor Hodgins makes an excellent defense for the Lord's day. I'm extremely grateful for this and I'm sure I will listen to it again in the near future as well as pass it along to others who might misunderstand what the Bible teaches us about the beauty and joy of this blessed day of rest.

The Shield of Faith

“ Great Sermon! ”
What a blessing the shield of faith!!! Praise to God for his glorious provision. I love the picture painted of God’s people grouped together, like the Roman soldiers of old used to do, moving as one. An unstoppable force, the gates of hell shall not prevail against us. I loved the reminder at the beginning of this sermon of what faith is and how it is obtained. This sermon is very encouraging, it has encouraged me to take up the shield of faith and stand, steadfast, immovable for the beloved name of Christ my Savior, for His kingdom and His glory.

Sermon:
The Wonder Of Christ
Arden Hodgins

comment
“ Wonder! ”
Spurgeon once said that you can never be accused of preaching Christ too much. You can never grow tired of gazing upon the wonder of Christ, His person, His work... This sermon is just that a longing gaze upon the Wonder of Christ a foretaste, if you will, of that person whom we will one day behold with our own eyes.
