“ Great Sermon! ” Good to see someone preach on this chapter and not explain it away, as being just something part of Paul's culture. Yes, it applies to today's family, today's world, and when we neglect it, we suffer. Abortion has robbed many women of the chance to be mothers and grandmothers, but no one mentions that impact. Instead, it is just a political tool to get votes.
“ Great Sermon! ” This sermon was such a Blessing to me and so timely delivered by the Grace of our Great GOD through you! Thank you Pastor Reed for your self-sacrificing, faithful service to preach the "whole" Word of GOD to HIS people! Grace, Mercy, and Peace be richly bestowed upon you brother! You are loved and appreciated!
“ Great sermon again ” Thank you for all the scriptures regarding the urgency to turn to God. One I remember,
" ..To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest." (Psalm 95:7-11 Holy Bible KJV)
“ Cleansing of The Temple ” It is worth noting the example of Jesus Cleansing The Temple in Matthew 21:12–17, Mark 11:15–19, Luke 19:45–48, and John 2:13-16. It is also worth remembering Psalm 69:9 and Isaiah 56:7 as well.
“ Olympic Diving: Aerial Pole Dancing Over The Water ” It appears that what is known as Olympic diving is really aerial pole dancing over and into the water. Like pole dancing, Olympic diving requires a lot of athleticism and acrobatics as well as half and/or fully naked performers. It is also because many of the poses that the Olympic divers do while flipping and twisting in the air look similar to the poses performed by strippers dancing on a vertical pole. While strippers dance on a vertical pole, Olympic divers erotically dance over the water from a springboard or platform. It is sad that aquatics facilities have now become strip clubs, especially where both recreational and Olympic divers can practice erotic poses while leaping, flipping, and twisting in the air over and into the water. It is also sad that Olympic diving is literally a more publicly accepted pornography. Worth noting Matthew 5:27-32 in response to this tendency to market perverted eroticism, especially as this type of publicly tolerated erotic entertainment known as Olympic diving.
“ Great Sermon! ” Not all who refuse to wear a masks are tyring to be rebelous. Some people for medical reasons cannot wear them. Others, like me don't want to be slowly posioning ourselves rebreathing our CO2. If this gas is not ecpelled from our body it can cause lightheadedness, fainting, heart attach, or stroke. So, to share only one side is misleading. Nobody should have their rights infringed upon to make others feel safe. A piece of paper or cloth can't prevent anything. If masks provides "security and protection" why so much hysteria? For, God did not give us a spirit of fear. The science doesn't bear out! Creator God numbers our days! Flu kills hundreds of thousands of people every year. And, it is by this means God calls us home. Is this virus not a tool of God just like cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes, etc?
“ Another edifying sermon for understanding ” The summation of the plagues in Egypt seem eerily similar, in order, of what is being negatively experienced now in the world, First, comfort, Secondly, economic and Thirdly, desolation and death.
“ His Kindness in illness!! ” I am so grateful that His Kindness was shown great toward you, sister Darlene and church family during your weeks of illness!! What a season to reflect on His unfailing grace toward all His children!
