overdue my name is bruce walker. i pastor a small church in greenville sc. this note is a general comment concerning the many sermons i have listened to on dr fernandes sermon audio page. having gradurated from a decidedly dispensational seminary [the masters sem, 97], i have grown to love the quiet and thourough content of these messages! from the early days of my own conversion, i have doubted the popular notion of the pre trib position. it is comforting to listen to the arguments of an obviously humble [and scriptural] pastor. i have been meaning to post this comment and should have done so long before now [i ve been listnening for months!] this is to let you know that there are those out here who agree with you and love you very much in the lord. i like you, hope the 'pre tribers' are right, yet i fear that they are not.
warmest regards

Great Sermon! Fernandes makes much more sense than Lowder. Lowder has such limits and sowerful goals, that it is quite depressive a stance. Lowder even admits to only inductive reasoning, while Fernandes uses both inductive and deductive reasoning. Also, Fernandes uses solid Bible statements, while Lowder can only look to accusations from his mainly personal perspective. Fernandes also answers objections more fully and with scholarly support.
In reality, the fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.' |

Great Sermon! Fernandez team does a good job of debating. The other team did a respectable job, though the truth just came through with a relatively "young earth" perspective and a straight forward view of Genesis 1-11, and other Bible passages, along with the presentation of Hebrew grammar and historical meaning of the text. |

Great Sermon! Dr. Fernandes,
Thank you !
I will use this next week to discuss the deity of Jesus Christ with two Jeh. Witnesses who have been visiting weekly for over two months. Finally, we get to this, and yet I already know, as one of them told me, that they believe in the use of the INdefinite article in John 1:1, which as you informed us, is against even first year (basic) Greek translation rules. So may God turn them from darkness to light. Japan often borrows from the USA, and unfortunately, they have their share of Jeh. Witnesses, who read and do visitation and try to work their way to an earthly paradise that is as deceptive and false as the glossy pictures of their literature. |
