“ Interesting Topic ”
To date, this is unlike anything I've heard on Sermon Audio. The mix of Bible prophecy and political history with current trends was both enlightening, yet forboding. The speaker Fernandez showed a lot of courage for even taking on this kind of subject matter. The quotes helped to drive his points home. I hope the church is paying attention.

“ overdue ”
my name is bruce walker. i pastor a small church in greenville sc. this note is a general comment concerning the many sermons i have listened to on dr fernandes sermon audio page. having gradurated from a decidedly dispensational seminary [the masters sem, 97], i have grown to love the quiet and thourough content of these messages! from the early days of my own conversion, i have doubted the popular notion of the pre trib position. it is comforting to listen to the arguments of an obviously humble [and scriptural] pastor. i have been meaning to post this comment and should have done so long before now [i ve been listnening for months!] this is to let you know that there are those out here who agree with you and love you very much in the lord. i like you, hope the 'pre tribers' are right, yet i fear that they are not. warmest regards bruce walker [864 787 1763]

“ Great Sermon! ”
I think that Dr. Phil does a decent introduction into this topic. I wish he had of drawn the connection between the biblical teaching concerning the Nephilim and the present agenda of the supposed 'space brothers. That being said Dr. Fernandez comes across as a sound biblical teacher. Two thumbs up!

“ Great Presentation! ”
I'd rate it as a good overall summary presentation of the Christian perspective on the UFO phenomenon. It was fairly well organized as an hour long introduction on the UFO topic, so it wasn't too in depth, but it wasn't over-simplified either. This is good for laymen who will need a Biblical compass to guide them through the maze of Ufology so as not to go to either extremes of accepting an overly secular-influenced skeptical position or a New Age-influenced gullible position.

Fernandes makes much more sense than Lowder. Lowder has such limits and sowerful goals, that it is quite depressive a stance. Lowder even admits to only inductive reasoning, while Fernandes uses both inductive and deductive reasoning. Also, Fernandes uses solid Bible statements, while Lowder can only look to accusations from his mainly personal perspective. Fernandes also answers objections more fully and with scholarly support. In reality, the fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.'

“ Great Sermon! ”
Fernandez team does a good job of debating. The other team did a respectable job, though the truth just came through with a relatively "young earth" perspective and a straight forward view of Genesis 1-11, and other Bible passages, along with the presentation of Hebrew grammar and historical meaning of the text.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Any practicing homosexual or anyone struggling with this issue should listen to this. Dr. Phil was so Scriptual, so common sensical, and loving re: this extremely sinful practice. How anyone can contradict him in any way, plainly shows much ignorance of the Bible, much ignorance of human anatomy, and is sad to say, blinded by Satan. Let's call a spade a spade. Listen for yourself !!!! I wish this message could be heard worldwide for the benefit of those caught in this sin/struggle and for the rest of humanity. Yes, indeed, God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised to hear a most fascinating, contemporaneous and an entirely relevant conclusion regarding this format. I surmise that this perceptive speaker is extraordinarily "in touch" with the times and has accurately determined the direction and condition of our modern church -and what needs to be done to further defend and promulgate the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Dr. Fernandes, Thank you ! I will use this next week to discuss the deity of Jesus Christ with two Jeh. Witnesses who have been visiting weekly for over two months. Finally, we get to this, and yet I already know, as one of them told me, that they believe in the use of the INdefinite article in John 1:1, which as you informed us, is against even first year (basic) Greek translation rules. So may God turn them from darkness to light. Japan often borrows from the USA, and unfortunately, they have their share of Jeh. Witnesses, who read and do visitation and try to work their way to an earthly paradise that is as deceptive and false as the glossy pictures of their literature.

“ Amazing Info ”
Wow. I used to think -I emphasize 'used to'!-the ten horns would comprise of the separate nations of the revived Roman empire, the European megastate. This speech clears it up that the ten horns will encompass the whole world as ten regional blocs. That makes total sense when one reads the ten horn prophecy Bible passages. Thank you Dr. Fernandez for the clarification.

“ Many memorable illustrations and quotes ”
Phil Fernandes debates an atheist Dan Barker (a former professed Christian) and tears his arguments apart in a large number of areas (the origin of moral values, arguments about the 2nd law of thermodynamics, the equality of women, Hitler being a Christian, etc). The debate is very long (around 2 hours total), but there is a lot of useful information here. Throughout the debate, Fernandes comes out with many significant, memorable quotes: Atheist: 'the bible puts down women. It was written by sexist men. you should be ashamed to hold that under your arm' Fernandes: 'the bible says that women were created in the image of God. atheism says they evolved from some primortial soup... she's just some molecules in motion; so I think that Christianity has a higher view of women than atheism does' Fernandes: "either in the beginning God... or in the beginning NOTHING" When asked why they were there (what the point of the debate was) Fernandes said it was like he found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that he wanted to share with his brothers... and he said he didn't know why the atheist was there.

“ Very good ”
Phil Fernandes debates an atheist Dan Barker (once a professed Christian) and tears the his arguments apart in a large number of different areas (arguments about the 2nd law of thermodynamics, Hitler being a Christian, the issue of the equality of women, the big bang, the origin of moral values, etc). The debate is very long (around 2 hours total), but there is a lot of useful information. I couldn't agree more with Tim from Minnesota. Dr. Fernandes offers a condensed yet meticulous survey of the history of Christian thought. This comprehensive series could very well be Dr. Fernandes' Magnum opus.

“ Interesting Speaker ”
I like listening to Fernandes' prophecy lectures, even though I still hold to the pretrib rapture. He's never nasty or rude to those Christians who hold contrary views. The Matthew 24:29 verse still puzzles me. There is no way that our Lord could possibly rapture the Church as He is descending to the Mount of Olives. How could that be?
