I live where evolution, like the USA, is taught in the schools. PRAY that missionaries will teach that God created the heavens and the earth in 6 literal days. 7/16/05 7:43 PM Doug  from Virginia    • Add new comment (Sermon no longer available) “ Great Sermon! ” I was raised in the Presbyterian Church(USA) denomination, and spent 30 years there, when in His grace, God saved me from hell, and from continued PCUSA teaching. I'm not sure if Ken Ham and "Answers in Genesis" is studied in PCUSA Seminaries, but they certainly should be! After I was saved, I was so angry about the poor quality of my public school education, and my secular state university education, both because of the absence of enough scientific evidence about evolution to even give it the dignity of a theory; but I was angriest with the one place that should have taught me the TRUTH of Genesis long before public school and college . . . . my denomination. Genesis is literally true, and Ken Ham pulls no punches in telling this story! We need to believe the Bible from the beginning! People will not come to Jesus today because the evidence for the creator is apparently been disproven. Explain these occurances and creations please. None of the athiests or agnostics can. Second, consider the human eye as it refocuses 100,000 times in a day. Why can we taste so many marvelous things? Who invented the ear? Smell is keen. Study the human anatomy in detail, amazing! I didn't evolve from slime or apes and neither did you. You are part of a perfect and intricate plan. You are special. There is no living creature exactly like you! Finally, at that moment of death will you share the bible given hope and promise that, indeed, there is more than this? He doesn't waffle on but rather provides us with a consise argument full of wisdom, understanding and insight. The two accounts cannot be reconciled apart from the realization that the Adamic race was created separately from and subsequently to the other races. There is no outcry over the fact that God singled out for favour and special relationship the descendants of the line Abraham-Isaac-Jacob and the nation of Israel. Why, then, should there be an outcry over the fact that God singled out for favour and special relationship the Adamic race? But one big point is left out and that is the assumption creationists have which is that the bible is all true. Why is there God? Because the bible says so and why is the bible the truth? Because it's the word of God. That's really just talking in circles. Besides that he keeps on asking whether or not we were thrown together by pure chance into full-blown people. That's not the point nor is it a valid point. If you believe in evolution, you believe it started with the tiniest 1celled lifeform which came probably from plantlife which came from water. So why is it so hard to believe that gradually things get more advanced through mutations (which Ken said to believe in even)? And another thing he said, was that information doesn't come from matter, so our DNA can't just have become out of nothing so someone has to have put it there. As the word DNA in itself says it's an acid what we make out of it is our interpretation so it's not like words in a language, for which the language has to be there before the words, it's a system purely material which we turn in to letters to help us understand it. Looking at evangelism from different angles and the insight presented in his sermons. God is working greatly in his ministry, and I pray the Holy Spirit guides his words (and his great sense of humor, about coming to the USA) for the sermons to come. Great Speaker! God bless.
