Sermon Does not Match Title This sermon is actually Chantry's
"Courtship and Marriage #03".
I don't know if "Chapel Library Conference #03: The Gospel of the Kingdom #2: Its Directives to Sinners" is available elsewhere
Role of Christians in forming USA. Life and activity of Ashbel Green, especially in reference with the Independence War. Presentation of the differences between The French Revolution and the American war for independence.
Great Sermon! This is an excellent message!, one that I (and I'm sure many others) can relate to quite well. Dr. Storms is awesome, I wish there was more of him on here.
Very Beautiful Sermon How wonderful it will be when the Lord Jesus returns. All the Saints will rise to meet Him and we'll all be together with our dear Lord.
If modern Christians could just read and believe the scriptures as they are written without trying to add something that's not there they would would be so much more blessed and have a hope that's not based on escaping tribulation, but based on how much we love Him, no matter what the cost.
God bless you for preaching the truth. I'll see you in the clouds when the angels gather us together to be with the Lord.
Great Sermon! Great message, that would NOT be recieved today, in today's modern church and modern psuedo-Christianity. For it seperates the wheat and the chaff.
Great Sermon! He is right, the Pharisees and sadducees are in control of the world news media, and the world's finances--deceived the the great deciever.
People do cry for Bless this, Bless that, and never once ask for God's chastening, or for reproof or correction. America cares not to glorify God, and neither do individuals if it would mean one tiny little bit of pain---who says anymore--and mean it "not my will Father, but thine, at any cost"
He is also right that revival would split every church, and most would disappear altogether--today's Churches do not want revival--and sleep good, when it does not come. Why, for they do not want what goes with revival--and that is total conviction of sin, total condemnation of sin----recognizing one's sins--that we spend so much time in hiding---
May God, in his mercy, show his strong hand of chastening upon ALL of his people today!
The Spirit leads us to Christ. Sovereignty of the work of the Spirit in the life of Simeon, opening his eyes to see the Messiah, to be satisfied with Christ, to love and embrace Christ.
Man of God. In all times, however dark, God had His people, whom the Holy Spirit brought to life. Simeon's was an example of this, waiting for the consolation only God can give.
Great Sermon! This is a very informative and entertaining series. I only wish that I could see the slides to which Mr. Moeller refers. Don Moeller shoud definitely do this more often. If anyone knows where to find more of his work please inform the rest of us.
Great Sermon! Thank you So much , I Praise the Lord for placing this Message Upon your heart & Within His soverign Providence sending it to me . May the Lord Bless & Guide you Amen Michael Mooore ...
Chosen for the glory of Christ. Election in Christ in the light of the life and activity of the Holy Trinity. Christ is the Chosen One and the elect are chosen in Him, for the eternal glory and preeminence of Christ.
Challenging and Encouraging Message This jistorical account of the decay of Puritan preaching during the persecution of ministers and the revival of preaching seen in Whitefield and Wesley has been a challenge to my own heart and yet an encouragement to press on and pray on for the power of the Holy Spirit. Ministers and congregations will benefit from this.
Blessed series. I was very blessed by this series. I started to listen to this series on the life of David in August 3, 2007. I thank the Lord for these messages. I learned many things, I was helped in many aspects, but especially I learned 2 lessons: the sovereignty of God in David's life; and the truth that your sin will have bitter consequences.
Death of a great man. On his death bed, David still thinks about the good of his kingdom. He still serves the Lord by the counsel he gives to his son.
Great failure. Another consequence of David's failure as a father. Adonijah fears not to disobey God's will. David has the grace to enthrone Solomon, so that the kingdom is not ruined.
Great vision. David regains his vision about the Temple and serves God even if he will not have the glory of building it. We must work for God even in old age, because the next generation will build on our foundation, for the glory of God. David passes to Solomon his vision.
