Truth for us today This sermon is actually from Luke 13. In this message Jesus is speaking to people of Judah but Pastor Weaver teaches how the truth of this lesson is as relevant for us today as then.
Great Sermon! Dear Pastor Weaver,
Thank you and God Bless you for your Christianity, your steadfast loyalty and stalwartness for our Southern culture and heritage. You are truly a son of the most high, a great example for all to follow, a patriot, hero of the truth and a magnificent speaker. With hat in hand sir, I say a thousand times, thank you.
A Sermon That Exposes This outstanding message has great exposures about the reasons our nation is suffering disaster in so many areas. First we have many false preachers and teachers. We have thousands of church buildings and hundreds of thousands of preachers -- many are false, weak and wicked preachers creating weak and sinful congregations. Also look at the destruction in nature's floods, fires and droughts -- even nature cries out about the evil of our preachers and leaders. The evidence of total wickedness of who is leading our nation cannot be overlooked, and we will continue our downtrend toward ruination because we do not hear the True Gospel and the people remain ignorant of Holy
Wonderful preaching! Isaiah 9:6(KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Resting in Him, through his mercy, grace and Glory,
Sober reckoning There is a time to warn, teach and preach, a time to plead, cry and pray, but there is also a time to act.
No amount of prayer, no amount of weeping can bring about what God only has to perform, and this is of necessity judgment.
Factual summons Relevant word about a displeased, exasperated, and exhausted prophet who vexed with the wickedness of his day, perceived that the only thing left ahead was judgment.
"The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit". Jer. 2:8
‚ÄúThey bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth‚ÄĚ
‚ÄúLORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine anger‚ÄĚ. Jer. 18:23
Great Sermon! I wish more people could hear this message, but asking your typical American to listen to something other than the idiot box is asking a bit too much. It also amazes me how a certain population continues to get thrown under the bus from their coward politicians, yet they continue to vote for them.
very valuable insights into scripture Tried to send a letter to John Weaver using the address in the book Civil Govt and the Christian, but it came back undeliverable. Anyone have a valid address for Pastor Weaver? Thanks
Great Sermon! Pastor Weaver's sermon hits at the heart of the current state of the professing church. Such a timely message to awaken and convict the hearts of God's people!
May those who have ears to hear; hear!
Alarming Sermon! Thank you.
This is such an alarming message. Will Christians take heed? I implore all who hear this message to seek God’s favor in prayers. We desperately need to be cleansed. We desperately need our holy God to descend upon our hearts and terrify us of the coming increase of judgment.
Studying the Word of God will change us into the image of the One who went about glorifying God in doing good; yet without sin.
Are we so devoid even of ‚Äúnatural affection,‚ÄĚ that we will continue to compromise truth? Re the Constitution, each citizen strives to do what is right in HIS OWN eyes.
Powerful Sermon! Of a truth our God is waiting for His own people to gain knowledge of Him so that great exploits will be done before the nations.
Oh that we would have a heart after God and desire His will.
