Great Sermon! I listened to your SermonAudio. You are one of less than a handful of preachers I've heard that did not make the topic focused on "lust prevention." Thank you for doing a good job. There is a book that mirrors that approach and it is like systematic theology painted onto the backdrop of attire. This is an excellent book to point your people towards. It will give you more ammo to go with your current sermon. It will also challenge you.
The Naked Truth: Revealing Things We Hide Behind is the most comprehensive book on this issue that does not approach the topic from a purely lust prevention mode, but rather from a worldview perspective. It gives a historical, Biblical, and Theological basis examination on every major class of adornment, from fingernail polish to tattoos. If you teach on this subject, and you should, this book will be a treasure trove of information covering the issue from birth to the afterlife. It also has a section with over 30 worldview probing questions that can be used as a textbook review. It will help you take the common teaching that stops where Adam and Eve used clothing to hide something to where God repurposed something that had been created by mankind as a barrier
Outstanding Sermon! This is an exceptional message covering all the important aspects of witchcraft and everything connected with it. Our nation is saturated will all powers coming from Satan. With the more recent involvement with homosexuality and drugs we are nearing the start of a nation wide revolution. As Christians we should be praying more and reading our Scripture daily. Time is short.

Only 1 of 10 sermons This is only 1 of 10 sermons on this subject. Here is a link to the rest. Click on the Sermons folder and you'll find a folder named Divine Healing.
Outstanding Chapter This is the best descriptive and insightful chapters since Chapter 1. This chapter alone is worth hearing many times when one is looking for solutions to one's problems. Secular over psychology is well shown here.
Its hard to sit through birthday parties. It's kind of ignorant in my mind. Is it even your real birthday? What calendar did the real Israel follow? The Book of Enoch and Jubilees doesn't seem to make sense. The 364 days is 5 days for every 4 years different from the 365/366 calendar. that means every 24 years this is a displacement of 30 days or a month.
sermon error, but still relevant He sermon is scriptural until the end, disregarding scriptures, both old and new testaments where God authority regulates and does not abolish masters and slaves and their respective duties, among which are found in Ephesians, Colossians, Philemon, 2 Timothy, etc, thereby refuting that a higher law of God does not exist and selectively using only other scriptures and ignoring and wrongly dividing others.
However regarding We the People in the US constitution the error is found where a licensing liberty and now tyranny of licentiousness must be tolerated and upheld by all, contrary to God's law. The man of Sin is called the Lawless One, an antichrist of a false freedom and wicked liberty has now taken power, and it's government seat is plainly in the U.S. where it's government of the people, not God, has been erected, and is now beginning to persecute.
Amazing Sermon! Wow this might be the most thorough and clear sermon expounding difficult scripture about government and the ordinance and power of God. It is particularly interesting and relevant in our present history and presidential election season, though delivered in the 1800s.
Forgotten meditation Thank you so much for these three parts of watsons meditation. I downloaded and listened for 3 times already. Puritans wrote other works on meditation, it would be really nice to hear them in audio too. Thank you so much
Psalm 22 In the past, I've been instructed regarding exclusive psalmody from Psalm 22 by the God's word and Spirit. I found this teaching very edifying and instructive. So much so that I continued my meditation in Psalm 22 this morning. I'd encourage the reading of Matthew Henry's 5 points on verse Psalm 22 v.22-31 regarding *the satisfaction and triumph of Christ in his sufferings*: -
I found much encouragement in points 4&5
It was a wonderful way to begin the Lord's day and stir one's heart to render thanks unto the LORD; it is a comely thing and to thy name O thou most High due praise aloud to sing! Thy loving-kindness to show forth when shines the morning light and to declare thy faithfulness with pleasure every night. I can anticipate doing that as well. Thank you for these words of instruction.
on schedule This morning in private worship I had a number of thoughts and had my yearly physical in Exodus 15:26 thanks to Robert Murray M'Cheyne's Bible Read Through Schedule. It was after today's reading and meditation I noticed this 2/23/16 edition and listened. I agree.
In recent days beginning about 2/12/16 I have been much taken up with the consideration of the first table Commandments; their promises and threatenings. How can anyone claim to be a Christian if they do not take God at His word, and cast themselves in total dependence on Christ who is the fulfillment of the law. Who but Christ could propitiate God's wrath that was due us for original sin in Adam and the least violation of any of his commands? He is our justification by His imputed righteousness. A justification that will be evidenced by a filial fear of God as His adopted children (Mal.1:6a A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear?) and an increasing conformity to Christ; even our imperfect sanctification, that is accepted in the Beloved. O for greater thankfulness and love to Christ for all He has done and will do for his people and for grace to walk worthy of such a Savior! Romans 8:9-14
