Great Sermon! This is a strong introduction to Justification by Faith Alone Doctrine. It will be informative to listen to Dr. Sproul's entire series, which I will do.
He is one of my favorite speakers.
Great Sermon! Dr. Sproul always gives a great message, but I especially love this series and this message. The Truth of eternal Security thrills my soul and I praise God for giving me saving Faith. I also pray that He blesses His Servant, Dr. Sproul. He is a true blessing to the Body of Christ!
Powerful Sermon! This sermon holds the answer that the world needs, but rejects it. They seek peace and confidence in the future, but only look to secular answers and block any Christian answer to understanding and accepting the God of Holy Scriptures, and therefore continue to be at war with God.
I can (finally!) see Heaven! R C Sproul is, without a doubt, the greatest apologist of our day! What a blessing to have access to his insightful expository teaching. And, this one is a treasure. I can (finally!) 'see' Heaven after listening to Dr Sproul's excellent description. Be blessed!
It Gets Better Did we chastise Schaeffer merely to drop his name? Shades of Donn Moomaw! I'm learning to pay special attention to the short summaries at the end of each sermon, they really say a lot, as do the sermons. Thank you for a clear explanation of truth-truth. Please consider the following: We can stare unblinkingly at the undeniable validity of the basic tenets of Darwinian evolution and still be admitted to the Shepherd's conference!! And if not, don't go.
Now We Gettin Somewhere Religion arose in the very first communities, 20,000 or more years ago. It expressed itself in Assyrian and Athenian culture, and in the Rome of Cicero. But God couldn't allow the full fruition of a Christless Society. Even "Christian" society ground to a halt with William of Orange, and the Enlightenment. So what does a 61 year old guy do to help?
Great Sermon! I'm starting the 9th in this series of "Defending Your Faith". So far I've heard some community college logic basics and a lot of enjoyable talk. But,nothing has helped my faith much except the beginnings of a hope that RC will do something good with the idea that "an effect demands a cause." Even if this is a fallacy, I don't care, it's true enough for government work. Well here we go again!
Powerful Sermon! We get a special deep feeling about what Jesus Christ was doing for us when He uttered "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me." That moment in time is impossible for us to comprehend but R.C. gives us some satisfying meaning to it. This is a very moving message and a great blessing.
Great Sermon! R.C. again does an excellent job broadening the meaning to some OT events, that can be difficult without the help of an expert. There's so much involved in the events with David and Solomon, that RC's clarity makes it more interesting and informative.
Great Sermon! Brother Sproul does an excellent job detailing the dangers of disobeying God. Solomon and David were loyal to God in their beginning but failed when they went away from listening to God, just as will happen to us when we do the same. Obedience is one of the greatest acts we can show God if we want to receive his favor.+
