You get what you pay for This is what happens when you allow civil government to define marriage. Once you allow the State to define marriage as one thing, you’ve automatically given them the right to define it (and redefine it) as whatever they wish. Marriage privatization was (and is) the only way to go in order to avoid this sort of thing.
God’s amazing ways! This interview was broadcast 8 months ago. I can’t believe there are no comments from listeners. This is an extraordinary account of God’s powerful ways of carrying out His amazing
plans. I hope more people will listen to it and comment on it. There’s a part 2 also that is just as good.
Prevalent gambling addiction in America !?! Where has the pulpit's teaching been in the evangelical church about gambling, the Lord's Day Observance, separation from Disney, sports, Holywood or wordly entertainment in the last 25 years?
Such lack of true teaching has shaped the society we have today.
United Nations: Secular World Government It is very simple to see that the United Nations is pushing for a secular world government. Of course, while there are Christian believers who are employees of the United Nations, it does not change the fact that the United Nations is a secular humanistic organisation bent on world government, which sadly, will lead to the one world government of the antichrist. May we recognize that the United Nations is a double-edged sword towards The Lord's Church.
Shocking testimony! I cannot understand why there are no comments already. This is a stunning testimony by a man who had a very violent childhood but who saw his extended family come to Christ one by one through the clear preaching of a hillbilly preacher. He ended up dedicating his life to sharing the gospel. Be prepared to laugh and cry and be deeply moved. It is an amazing story of God transforming lives of the most unlikely people.
There is also good advice for how to mobilize teens to share the gospel. I’m going to order this book right now, read it myself and then give it to my pastor. And another copy for a friend who is a single parent.
Thank you so much, Adam, for this powerful interview.
Torture: Sin of Murder It should be noted that torture is really the sin of murder, or rather, attempted murder since torture involves inflicting suffering upon persons with the intent on compelling speech or action by the victims. As we know, Commandment 6 of the Ten Commandments outlaws all forms of murder, including this sin of murder called torture. It is tragic how political conservatives can justify torture asserting its effectiveness on extracting information. A much needed podcast in SermonAudio.
Wait a minute.... A response to a comment made "we a becoming more a selfish generation... it's all about me"
We have always been a self-centred generation! Read the Old Testament. We were never less self centred. Every believer is self-centred.
Our culture neither knows or likes the idea of Jesus. His own people put Him to death!
Great Sermon! Thank you for this podcast! I too grapple with this question. I tell my children that we must be in the word of God daily, praying without ceasing, and comparing everything we read or listen to to Scripture. I have found so much helpful information from imperfect people like myself and rather than avoiding these completely, I just keep going back to the word of God and seeking His wisdom. ☺ I must be careful in this that I'm not influenced in a wrong way. Thanks again!!
Yes! The Truth Yes, I left my name out on this comment because of the state of America at this time but this sermon needs to be heard by all Christians. It is the truth of today and things are much worse now than in 2017 when this was recorded. Sadly, it is actually dangerous to say the truthful things said in this great sermon which is the truth. God Is Not Mocked!
Great Sermon! Good points. I believe the obesity epidemic is a reflection of us turning away from God in how we grow and produce food. Our food is depleted of nutrients, processed in a way that makes it addictive and unsatisfying and has additives that should never be considered food. When I used to eat that way I was always hungry! Gatorade is a perfect example of something that should not be consumed, but I too used to think it necassary. The only way to beat the obesity epidemic is to turn back to God and get to work in our kitchens and source nutrient dense food.
Great Sermon! Both carbs and being sedentary are the culprit. Hundreds of years ago people eat less and move a lot (no cars, media, etc.). Fruits and other foods were scarce. They eat what the grow.
Exercising alone will not help if you do not consider the food you eat.
