I have not been able to go to my own Church today because of illness but i have watched the both services from Lurgan Baptist Church and have been blessed by the sermons especially the evening service when Mr. Paul McCreery preached a very simple Gospel message. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Usually enjoy the sermons but to-day 20.12.09 was very disappointed. You referred to Simeon waiting for christmas. Do you not know that christmas is a pagan festival and has nothing to do with Christ or His birth so how was Simeon waiting for it? it is the Mass of Christ and in the 5th century the RC church commanded that the birth of Christ be observed forever on Dec 25th to celebrate the birth of Sol one of the names of the sun-god. Your word to-day was a lot of truth mixed with error and brother I think you should research a little more into the pagan practices of this season of the year and come out from among them and be ye separate we are to be differend from the world a holy peculiar people. Rev.18v4. May the Holy Spirit open your eyes and many of our evangelical pastors in these last days to the truth.

“ Great Sermon! ” It is very painful to see how the Jewish people are treated around the world. There is so much pressure from everyone to agree to a Palestinian state. Anti- semitism is rising, and I know if Father God did not have his hand on them, they would be wiped out by now. So much hatred. It builds my faith when I read about God's plans for Israel. Such a mighty, faithful, amazing God we serve who will never desert Israel. His plans will come to pass. It still grieves me to see such hatred towards a race of people. “ Great Sermon! ” As I was listening to this, I couldn't help but think of Obama. The people thought he was going to be the one to lead them to better times. I know he's not the antichrist, but he surely is an antichrist and a forerunner to the real thing. Thank you and God bless you and your congregation.
Really enjoyed broadcast last night. Family singing were superb - such close harmony. Preacher was excellent - really encouraging and challenging message.
I did not catch the young lady's name, but her testimony was very engaging and exciting. God's loving grace is definitely established and manifested from her heart.
“ The great error of baptists ” "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified bt the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they made holy" 1cor ch7v14. Could a baptist please explain who ever gave the command to exclude children from the church of Christ. Considering the fact that they are clearly included in the above passage.
“ To Donnell: ” My dear Donnell...Lance is correct. Were it not for the celebration of the Holy Mass every day, the world in its wickedness WOULD certainly have destroyed itself long ago. The Roman Catholic Church plainly teaches that Christ's sacrifice of Calvary was once and for all. Please keep in mind, however, that God is not limited by time nor space. Time was created by God for humanity. God is always present in the Eternal Now. Christ is always present to the Father in heaven presenting His sacrifice to the Father for our salvation. In the Holy Mass, we participate in the SAME sacrifice of Calvary. Christ is not sacrificed AGAIN; Christ does not die AGAIN. Christ died once. And yet, miraculously, Christ allows us to participate with Him in the self-same sacrifice of Calvary when we participate in the Mass. Miraculous? Yes. Mystical? Yes. Beyond human understanding? Yes. Requiring true faith? Absolutely.
