“ Great Sermon! ”
If you are like me and did not know who Paton was, you might want to read: http://www.bunton.id.au/patontre/life.html before you listen.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Glad to have a message on Paton whose bio. is amazing, to say the least. Especially interesting is that January 28th was the 100th anniversary of his death. NEXT December 21st{2007} is the 200th anniversary of the death of John Newton. Please give us a bio of him on that date as well! :)

“ Woe to an improverished gospel ”
Among other things in this sermon, and the intense week of messages it's from, is a call for the true gospel to go out in the face of Joel Osteen, and other impoverished forms of the gospel where the good news about sin and salvation by grace are scarcely or never heard. I didn't realize how impoverished what I was hearing on the airwaves and television was until I found messages on sermonaudio.com about the true gospel.

“ Great Sermon! ”
What is your firm foundation? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness on Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand. Who is your own confidence and firm foundation? A blessing to hear!

“ A classic-what the Bible says about your security ”
The security of someone who trusts Christ seems to be a perennial question, and this timeless, classic sermon answers it definitively from the Bible. If you're surfing the Internet looking for answers on this important topic, this is a good resource about eternal security because it looks at what the Bible says about the character of God and the nature of His promises.

“ A Year With Othniel and Achsah ”
A great encouragement to be aggressive in getting a blessing - but in a Biblical way through study and supplication, not in the greedy health and wealth gospel sense.

“ A Fascinating Look At the Story Behind The Song ”
A fascinating look at the solid scriptural basis of this song, and the story of the author who wrote it. In the age of "Christmas music" piped into stores and public places and on the radio which has nothing to do with Christmas at all, it is refreshing to revisit this classic.

While these people are out working for the Lord, you set here and condemn them, and bearing false witness, kinda makes one wonder where your heart really is...

God love ya

“ Precious preaching! ”
Such a blessing to my heart to hear you preach! That you understand and speak of the love Jesus Christ has for women; truly a gift from God! This was such a fulfilling study; I just did not want it to end. You are in our prayers every day and night. God bless you and all the brethren!

“ Short and true ”
This tiny message is the pure truth about the Christmas season and will bless those tired of the materialistic culture and shallow religion of this season. (American English speakers: www.m-w.com says "lift 10b chiefly British: elevator")

Sermon:
The War Of The Worlds!
Rev Ian Brown

“ What if the words are what they say? ”
Comparing scripture with scripture; a horse is a horse. A fire breathing horse is quite possible; not unlike what we think of as a fire breathing dragon. The Bible speaks of dragons too. One key note; read 2Kings 19:35. The angel of the Lord smote 185,000. How? With bombs and missles? I think not. One angel, just think of it! God does not need anything manmade to do what He has determined will occur. If God says the armies are on horses; well, why not believe it?

Sermon:
The Signboard Of Calvary
Rev Ian Brown
2
comments
“ Great Sermon! ”
Moving to a new house yet having all my things in storage I found myself purchasing a bargain £9.99 drill to fix up the new house sign based on a particular scripture. One might wonder why this was so important yesterday when the house has a number of serious repairs! A friend knowing about the sign said: "what a lovely sign - I'm sure it will be a topic of conversation that will lead to opportunites of witness." This did not really register until I providentially came across Pastor Brown's sermon this Lord's Day morning and the witness of the signboard of Calvary! Lost and seeking the right way? The Lord Jesus Christ is the answer! 'How can we know the way? Jesus saith 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' John 14:1-6. This sermon is a blessed direction to the only Saviour of lost and hell bound sinners. Wonderfully insructive.

“ Your chance to know Him ”
This sermon is an incredible presentation of who Jesus Christ is, and what the Gospel is. I know a lot of people find this web site through googling or surfing around -- isn't it worth half an hour to be sure of your eternity? See for yourself what the Bible says -- I encourage you to note down all the scriptures in this sermon, esp. 2 Cor 5:21.

“ Peace blessed peace! ”
Feeling sorry for myself this evening; I listened to this wonderful and uplifting sermon! One can become awash in self pity or turn to Jesus Christ. How thrilling to know that the Creator of the universe loves you! He loved us before we loved Him! He will never forsake us! Peace, yes I have peace in the Comforter, my savior the Lord Jesus Christ! How long can one be in the dumps when cheered by His love! Thank you dear preacher, for reminding me of that!

“ Golden Calf Kicks Man! ”
A lot of people probably stumble across SermonAudio.com while they're googling or surfing around, and wonder what it's about. (That's how I found it.) If you're wondering about the emptiness and meaninglessness of modern life, and how shallow and hollow the world is, and what life is all about, this sermon is a good place to start, because it talks about gaining what the world has to offer you and how little it will be worth in the end. What will it profit you to gain anything this sermon talks about, and lose your soul? But to fill the emptiness of modern life with something meaningful, this sermon holds out great hope at the end. Not the phony hope of television religion, or worldly pursuits, but something deep and lasting. This is a good starting point for discovering the true, Biblical, historical Christian faith.

Benny Hinn is a false prophet. Many of his false prophecies and heretical teachings have been well documented. People continue to grant him religious legitimacy at their spiritual peril.

For further information, see the following links produced by a quick informal Google search (which are not necessarily the best or exhaustive):

http://www.rapidnet.com/~jbeard/bdm/exposes/hinn/general.htm
http://www.aloha.net/~mikesch/tbn.htm
http://www.apologeticsindex.org/h01.html

For those wanting to "buy" into his heresies, caveat emptor.

“ not just "interesting" Scott... ”
...but TRUE!! The Pagan idolatry of Romanism has been, and remains, every bit as brutal and bloodthirsty as Islamic terrorism. All Christians must continue to pray that those deceived into Roman Catholic bondage will be made (not set) free by faith in Christ alone, and also for those in mainstream quasi-Christian deominations who believe that Romanists are Christians. May the Lord bless brother Ian, Pastor Ovadal, and all who boldly preach the full counsel of God!!
