Great Sermon! I really am so thankful for my faith and do not take it for granted, especially when I hear "intellectuals" who get so caught up on distracting details that they can not see a larger and more meaningful "picture". God will constanly reveal Himself to a trusting and humble heart. I would much rather have a spiritual gifts than an analytical "gift" that jeopardizes my faith and and understanding of WHO God is. I am also thankful for the opportunity to pray for these debators & those casting their "vote . |

Debate Fact Check: Gagarin DID see God in space The debate mentioned Premier Khrushchev in a speech declared Yuri Gagarin did not see God in space. Khrushchev lied.
Story: When Yuri Gagarin, the first man who went into space, returned to Earth, there was a huge reception in his honor. As his close friend and cosmonaut colleague Alexei Leonov tells it, then-premier Nikita Khrushchev cornered Gagarin "So tell me, Yuri," he asked, "did you see God up there?" After a moment's pause. Gagarin answered, "Yes sir, I did." Khrushchev frowned. "Don't tell any one," he said. A few minutes later the head of the Russian Orthodox Church took Gagarin aside. "So tell me, my child," he asked Gagarin, "did you see God up there?'" Gagarin hesitated and replied "No sir, I did not." "Don't tell anyone." |

Great Sermon! An estimated 4,700,000,000 Bibles have been printed with 31,103 verses in each. According to Pastor Hammack, there are "10,000,000 interpretations per verse." Therefore, there are 100s of billions of Bible interpretations floating around the Internet and pulpits. With this massive proliferation of Bibles and incorrect interpretations, according to him, "We live in a time of spiritual anarchy." However, the Bible will always be the best-seller (plus it's online in almost every language) and the number of different interpretations grows exponentially every year. It's the 'Judges' form of interpretation: "Everyone does what is right in their own eyes." Ultimately, of these 100s of billions of interpretations, who is *the* source for understanding the truth of Scripture? Are we to most trust Pastor Hammack's interpretations with his million+ followers? And if not, who are these million+ to trust with their eternal souls? Another SA preacher? Billy Graham? C.H. Spurgeon? Let's face it, there are 1,000s more interpretations than there are living persons. If you don't trust any of these, at the end of the day, who do you 100% trust to correctly interpret the Word of God? Five star message! |

Well Thank you for uploading the debate! I'm now very confused about something though. When one of the speakers said "think about it, god sacrificed himself to himself.." Well now that he says that, it really does sound a little crazy! Please help explain! I don't want to doubt but they made it sound very convincing. God bless you |
