Great Sermon! America is great, all right! Great in materialism! Great in military might! Great in the gods of Manna, comfort and ease! Great for her sports idolatry! Baseball cancelled because of September 11? NOT FOR LONG!! Great in acceptance and promotion of lust and pornography, and great in dens of iniquity! Great in promiscuity! Great American Hollywood! Great Disneyland! Reader: Great judgments are yet to come upon America!
The terrorists have nukes, have chemical and biological weapons, and WILL use them as Almighty God allows!! America: your days are numbered. DO NOT LISTEN to the phony Americans who paint these days in pastels! The SWORD and PESTILENCE are at the doors! Prepare to meet thy God! Lost sinner, careless about your state: consider ETERNITY. Death will come when you do NOT expect it. Did the WTC victims prepare that day? You say, "Oh my god!" But is YOUR god the true and living God, the Father of The Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? And you, child of God: wake up! where is your concern about spiritual matters?
WHY has God done this? Judgment must begin at the house of God. Christian: WAKE UP!!!! Open your eyes and LOOK IN: what are YOU pursuing? Where are your priorities? Have YOU TOO forgotten God?
Look o the fields: white unto harvest!
Did WTC victims get a witness?
Oh, the lengths our lovely Saviour went to! This sermon is split into three parts, Thomas absent from the first gathering mentioned,Christ appearing in the second, and Thomas's response to the Saviour's word.Bible Character studies are always a real help to the child of grace, and bro Wagner brings out some tremendous thoughts from Thomas's words and actions from this portion of scripture. However, the thing which is most amazing, is the condescesion of the lovely Saviour,to Thomas, and of course to us who have not seen, yet beleive.Oh, to know Jesus Christ, and Him crucified,is the most blessed state a soul can be in.Listen, enjoy, and be humbled like Thomas!May you ,potential listener, and i, know what it truly means to exclaim to Christ,"my Lord and my God !"
A MOST challenging sermon! Since i first heard brother Wagner on his sermon soon after the world trade centre tragedy,i have realised that here is a brother who preaches most challenging sermons, but with a true pastor's heart for the people of God in their walk with the Lord, and so thus ultimately glorifies the Saviour. This sermon is such an example, with some thoughts from the Song of Solomon in which this dear brother brings before the listener how the most comeliest Christian is the one who is the most humble. We have practical instruction of how we can become more so, if we are neglectful (and who isn't?)in this matter. This was a word from the Lord to my soul, and i trust it will be a blessed message to others to. Thankyou pastor Wagner for your faithfulness to the Word of God, and for sermonaudio for listing it.
Great Sermon! dear rev. wagner i listened to your message and it was the best i have ever heard about hell!!! i hope many people were saved. if i had not already been a christian i know i would of fell to my knees and askeD GOD TO FORGIVE ME of my sins however it brought tears to my eyes when i thought about all the uncaring people about GOD,and are going to hell. geri
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon! There is always an ongoing attack against the Doctrines of Grace. Sadly those objectors have often a limited understanding of how these doctrines exalt always and ONLY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Rev Wagner glorifies Christ and draws attention to 'egghead calvinism'. Could it be that some of the calvinism of today (while intellectually true) is lacking the vital ingredient? Listen carefully...
Excellent Sermon! Excellent sermon. Clear and relevant Christ centred preaching especially for all of Gods chosen.
Each of us will struggle with pride unto the end and this message needs to be acted upon.
Great Sermon! Very encouraging to me personally as the text re: Eagles' Wings has meant so much to me. Rev Wagner is a pastor with a warm heart always making a most helpful application of the text.
Great Sermon! Fine sermon heard yesterday and a worthy comment from part of Mr Spurgeon's devotional this evening re the BEST FRIEND!
Charles Spurgeon's Evening Devotional for Today
Date: May 3
"A very present help."
Covenant blessings are not meant to be looked at only, but to be appropriated. Even our Lord Jesus is given to us for our present use. Believer, thou dost not make use of Christ as thou oughtest to do. When thou art in trouble, why dost thou not tell Him all thy grief? Has He not a sympathizing heart, and can He not comfort and relieve thee? No, thou art going about to all thy friends, save thy best Friend, and telling thy tale everywhere except into the bosom of thy Lord.
most needful Sermon! Brother Wagner deals with a subject- Christian humility-which affects all of the Lord's people, in or out of the pulpit.
If we do not "humble ourselves", God most certainly will.
Our pride is the last sin that will die, and brother Wagner preaches a most needful sermon.
May the Lord have mercy upon us all.
Great Sermon! Excellent message full of conviction and passion. Great handling of Scripture about something that can be difficult to explain to the average person. Hell is real and Jesus pulls no punches! Thank You Rev. Wagner!
Great Sermon! Preaching Hell's Fire shows the unsaved what will happen to them if they do not repent. How can we get them to hear this message? How can we get them to listen, act, and make a faith response for Christ? His will be done.
Great Sermon! Just recently I asked my pastor why do you not preach on the subject of hell? He said that in his opinion it is in bad taste and would offend seekers. In the last five years our church has embraced the church growth philosophy. I have never heard a sermon on eternal punishment under his ministry going on 8 years now. After listening to this message I see the wickedness of any man who stands in the pulpit and does not warn sinners of the wrath to come. Rev.Wagner affirms God's love yet powerfully shows that the Lord cannot tolerate Sin. His comments on the cross and the sufferings of the Lord Jesus Christ caused me to cry out for forginess at my hardness of heart. There is a famine in the land for hearing the word of God in our pulpits. May the Lord continue to richly bless your ministry.
Great Sermon! Greetings to all God fearing friends. Really pricked my heart about the urgency for the salvation of my loved ones. Let's all pray for the people who take the reality of hell lightly and continue to sin without any regard for God. A very moving sermon and thank God for leading me to hearing this message. God bless.
Great Sermon! Greeting to Rev Johm Wagner & everyone in Christ,
Thanks to all Speakers of various sermons.I always feel that God is wonderful and merciful. He created
such beautiful works in the outreach for the unsave. And also by using wise and loving men like all of you to share by your sermons.
After having hearing this sermon,it really helps me to think; That we are all so lucky to be loved by ours'most Wonderful,Real Living God.To be able to recieve His message everyday. The beauty of this sites provides God's Words to strengthen our faith.Because faith comes by hearing.
My crying is for those who are unsave.Pls do understand that God is always loving you and is waiting for your invitation to become His friend. We are all sinners and I always felt that I do not deserve His love; But yet He chose me.He would have not share this sermon with all of us if He do not loves us.It is not God's intention to see anyone perish. He wants to save you people.Always remember,we are all God's children. If you people were to think deep and admit that we are all sinners and accept Him right now.You will thankful to Him after which you realise that peace and joy are much better that gold.Nobody can rob you of that.
To this day,I have never forget my walks with His Majesty. He lifted me up when I fall,He comforts me when I am sad.His words are like the two-edges sword.Keeps you wanting to learn and listen more. His Words are so powerful that it will heals broken souls.
Finally,to all unbeliever;Have you ever ponder over why God is doing so much works to get all of you save.Hell is terrifying and scary.Don't wait till the doors is close.
I have shared with a friend of mine who is a unbeliever. He was asking when is the endtime. My reply to him that at anytime.Especially we do not know what tommorrow brings. We might just go away without our knowing. So it will be a sad thing to know that you have not been save before anything happens.
Last and foremost,a word to the unsave; We would love to see everyone in Heaven than in Hell. This is what God has wish for day and night.Amen.
