“ Great Sermon! ”
Hi Pastor Voddie I love your sermons and hope to come to the states to listen to you live. Please help me understand, you say God is all-knowing and is behind all that happens. I then dont understand how God can regret, and grieved deeply, as He does in Genesis thus causing the flood. Also in the new testament it also says that God wants all to go to heaven. Does this suggest that God sometimes puts the ball into our court to make a decision He doesn't know the certain outcome of. Hence why He 'tests the depths of our hearts', to see what we will do? I'm struggling with this :-/

Mercy In Sodom

“ Such were some of you... ”
Thank you Voddie for this excellent expository on Genesis 19. I needed this humbling message of mercy to remind me what God has saved me from - His Wrath. And it was nothing I did nor anything in me that was worth redeeming. It was and is all of Grace and His longsuffering Mercy that saved a wretch like me. I do pray for those caught in this sin to have their eyes opened now because our life here is but a vapour and eternity is just that - eternal, no chance for repentance once our heart beats for the last time. God Bless!

This message was very informative. I have never heard this explanation before, even though I knew we all came from Adam.

“ Very encouraging sermon! ”
I have listened to this sermon multiple times, and gain new understanding each time. It is brilliantly done, very focused on the scripture. It makes clear some of the more confusing aspects of Revelation. Of course the key understanding is how we WILL be judged by works, and for those who have not yet heard it - yes, this IS EXACTLY what you want. Thank you for your insightful and very helpful message.

Then who are the 144,000? It was not adequately explained, who are the 144,000? Is it the Church? Something is terribly, terribly wrong!

It is indeed a privilege to be able to go boldly before His throne of Grace..a privilege we dont deserve..a privilege not to be taken for granted..Who are we that He should stoop to hear us?It is indeed a privilege to be able to call upon His name,to rest in Him,to run to Him,cry at His feet,to worship Him and enjoy His friendship.A priceless privilege indeed!

This was such a blessing to me. I expected to hear a sermon about why I should be praying more (which I already know). Instead, I heard a message which stirred up my desire to pray more and also encouraged me to persevere in the areas that I have grown weary. Thank you!

“ Timeless & Timely ”
I listen to this sermon tonight while working and I felt the agony as I think about the church & the broader culture. I'm praying for God to raise up men & women in His Church with that same conviction. Thank u.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Very good sermon. Psychology and psychiatry have infiltrated the church and have made it anemic, sick and worldly. There is no place for these fields in the body of Christ. The problem is sin and the answer is the Person of Jesus Christ. Remember Mark 5; Jesus can restore anyone if we repent and believe and receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. Amen! Check out link to Living in Christ Ministries - 'Psychologizing of the Faith' by Bob Hoekstra. There are 2 sermons in the link entitled by the same name. http://livinginchrist.org/media_library/psychologizing/ Thank you Voddie Baucham!
