Paedocommunion vs paedobaptism This is a fantastic study of the Lord's Supper in contrast with baptism. It treats the reasoning for why Reformed churches typically do not practice paedocommunion with careful emphasis on biblical references and standards. A good, broad survey of the history of this debate about paedocommunion is given, as well as plenty of references. Highly recommended.
# 1 of 10 in Series: 'The Fight' Listen to all 10 sermons in this series because they all interrelate. Rev Shishko covers all areas in this 10 sermon series including our 3 enemies: the devil, the flesh, & the world
Great Sermon! This sermon is mislabeled. It should read Part 7 instead of Part 1. This will be confusing for those who don't dig deeper to try and find it. I looked and verified by a small, tiny little box about 2/3's down the page on the left hand side.
Edifying! The opening Bible reading by Brother Shishko makes the text come alive in a new way. All ministers should read the Bible with this much expression and feeling. It really opens the understanding. God's word is living and powerful!
Great Sermon! Lots of good advice here. I recall in college the guy that took Sunday off got the highest grade in his degree. I believe that Friday sundown to Sunday sundown is the sabbath, but more important we should set aside a day each week for rest and focussing on god.
Great Sermon! I love teachings about old testament characters. We have a lot to learn about the failings in our own characters through them. This was a nice sermon to listen to and I really enjoyed it. Thankyou.
