Basic Information
Introduction
Mount Merrion Free Presbyterian Church was formed in 1952. We are Presbyterian in Government and Reformed in Doctrine. We subscribe to The Westminster Confession of Faith along with the Larger and Shorter Catechisms; these form the confessional foundation of our Denomination. We believe that the three marks of a New Testament Church are (1) Faithful, Christological Preaching, (2) The right and lawful administration of the Sacraments (3) The proper exercise of censure and Discipline. These marks are not only essential for the Church of Christ to exist, but are viewed by us as being vital to God’s people in their maintaining a healthy and fruitful spiritual life. Our theological convictions are covenantal, seeing the family as an essential element in the building of the Church. According to the Acts Ch2:42 pattern, we seek to promote good fellowship among the Saints and a consistent life of prayer, these are a means of grace used by God in order to develop an effective and evangelistic local Church. The Authorised Version of The Scriptures is used in our worship Services.
We encourage you and your family to visit with us, we assure you of a warm welcome in Mount Merrion Free Presbyterian Church.

We have been greatly encouraged by the way in which SermonAudio has increased our preaching ministry in Mount Merrion. It is very exciting to receive the monthly reports and observe the countries and regions to which our messages are going to. Thanks also for the new additional features that are constantly being added to the site, a very fresh approach indeed, may it continue.
