Introduction
Joplin Emberson is the founder and pastor of Cross Way Church in Derby, Ks. He also serves as an evangelist and director for Living Gospel Outreach.
Today the Church stands at a crossroads. Either we continue down the path we are on that has led to the powerlessness that plagues us; OR we turn the tide. It is for this reason that Living Gospel Outreach stands - to turn the tide. It is the heart of this ministry to be used by God in the process of bringing revival to His Church in our era. We stand, as did Isaiah, and simply say ‘here are we Lord, send us’. We believe that God desires, God can, and God will bring revival and restoration to His church. We believe that the preaching of the Gospel, when done in the power of the Holy Spirit as spoken of in 1 Corinthians 2, will bring about true salvation that results in real and lasting change; that it will reignite the flame in the hearts of God’s people resulting in real evangelism in our society.
This is the heart and mission of Living Gospel Outreach: to assist in bringing revival to God’s people by being a help to other pastors and preachers who sincerely desire to be used of God in the power and unction of Heaven; to be of help to the church by providing revival that is God-breathed producing real and lasting change; and by preaching the gospel to this lost and dying world that sinners might be saved and added to the church.
