Introduction Founded in 1818, Jarvis Street Baptist Church continues to exist, by divine favor, for the praise of God's name, the salvation of sinners, and the encouragement of believers. As a multicultural community of believers, we are committed to releasing the Word of God through faithful, Spirit-led exposition of Scripture. And since worship is not about us, but about God, we aspire to exalt our sovereign Lord in simplicity, reverence, and joy. As for our theology, we hold dear the doctrines of Grace and subscribe in principle to the historic Calvinistic Baptist Confessions of Faith.
