Introduction
In July, 1973, James and Rebecca Lewis came to Clyde, Ohio to pastor what was then the Clyde Pentecostal Church. Having left the Pentecostal movement in 1977, after much Bible study and prayer, Pastor Lewis retains the excitement and enthusiasm for God's Word that he grew up with. The church was renamed Harvest Temple, and in 2000 it became Harvest Baptist Temple.
Today, Harvest Baptist Temple continues to shine the light of the gospel in the Clyde area through it's many outreach programs. Some of these include Harvest Temple Christian Academy, WHVT Christian Radio, Reformers Unanimous, jail and nursing home ministries, Golden Apples seniors group, Little Crusaders Daycare and Preschool, missions, buses, youth ministries, and much more! Average Sunday morning attendance is around 400, plus an infinite number of radio and internet listeners. All services are broadcast live on www.whvtfm.com.
