Basic Information

Introduction We aspire to teach the whole counsel of God’s word. When a church teaches every verse or passage from the Bible, it teaches on everything the Bible has to say. We’re not saying topical teaching is wrong, but when it’s the norm, a large portion of God’s word can get ignored. Additionally, Grace Christian Fellowship is about uniting families, age groups and ethnic backgrounds into one united group—the way Scripture sees the church. Only when families are together can fathers lead their families and the younger benefit from the older. When divisions disappear and people benefit and the church is joined together. The modern church has undergone unprecedented levels of increased division. There are senior groups, young married groups, single groups and youth groups. This segregation has only weakened the Church’s ability to follow the Bible’s mandate for fathers to lead families, older wives to mentor the younger and young men to be mentored by the aged and wise. The result has been increased immaturity and young men, without accountability, abandoning their families. If all you had was the Bible for modeling a church, the model you'd find would be family-centered, father-led and age-integrated. This is the best model. Studies support this fact too. Children who are raised in a church where fathers lead their families are four times more likely to remain in the faith than those who are not. In fact, reputable studies show that the majority of children who are only Sunday Schooled will leave the faith before they graduate. When the church comes together, fathers serve their families, children flourish in their faith, the young serve the elder and marriages are strengthened.
