      Basic Information

Introduction
Greenville Seminary is committed to training passionate, articulate preachers of the Gospel in the historic Reformed faith. All degree programs emphasize personal piety, knowledge of the Word, and application of the Word.

The Seminary primarily prepares men for the gospel ministry through the Divinity Program (B.D., M.Div.), but also offers other opportunities for study. The Master of Ministry for Ruling Elders (M.M.R.E.) is offered to ordained Ruling Elders seeking further education and to other men approved by their session. The Master of Arts (M.A.) is offered to those who are neither ordained nor seeking ordination.

The recordings included in the Mt. Olive Tape Library were collected by George Calhoun, the founder of the library, over the course of some thirty years. The collection reflects the personal quest of Mr. Calhoun for a balanced education in Reformed Theology. The speakers included in the tape library have been scrutinized for their faithfulness to the Bible. The messages will enable students to pursue the study of Reformed theology.

In 2006 the assets of the Mt. Olive Tape Library, Inc. were transferred to the care of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. For information about the seminary please visit www.gpts.edu.

Testimonial
There are many reasons I am thankful for SermonAudio, but one of the primary reasons is God is using this ministry to train people to become sermon listeners. Neil Postman documents in his book “Amusing Ourselves to Death” how television has radically affected the way people listen. This phenomenon has affected how people listen to sermons, but through the ministry of SermonAudio people are becoming profitable hearers of the word of God preached.
